A Random Sailor

Serenica looked at her friends. She was the one who had angered the Maroon King. She was under no illusions about the nature of that wrath. The Maroon King was as petty as he was vengeful. She knew he would not stop after taking a life of a random sailor.

She knew she had to distance herself from her loved ones.

She also knew said loved ones would not allow that.

The distance between the two vessels was now pretty much swimmable. The wind had calmed down, leaving only moderate waves rolling in the sea, and it did look like the currents weren't that bad, either.

Serenica placed her belongings on the deck. She stripped herself down to her pants and her shirt, since her coat had been expensive, and her other clothes were quite durable compared to it. She didn't want to swim naked, let alone get up on a fisher ship with her breasts bare.

"What in the name of all demons do you think you're doing?" Spade asked her.
