Reunions

"Why are you here?! GET LIGUR!" the prince hissed at Serenica.

She had been holding back tears without noticing it, but now they started to flow.

She let go of her lover.

"We were going to do that," she said meekly.

"He is more important than me! Going to – intentions do not count! Go, find me later!"

"Your time spent in captivity is making you mad, it's not about her!" Myorka snapped at him. "Serenica stays here with you. She is your girl. Or – at least she is supposed to be. You two sort things out. I will find my son with William's help."

The prince sighed and tilted his head. It appeared like he, too, was on the verge of crying.

"Go, go, go, don't care about me."

Serenica tried to hoist him upright, but it was hard for her to keep him on his feet, since his legs were still useless. She asked him about the location of his wheelchair.

"How should I know, damn it."
