School and back home

"Hey did you hear?..." A girl was saying as everyone was eating lunch. Delilah was sitting at the table as well as they all talked. "Yeah... that new kid?... we have a couple of them right?" Another girl replied.

"Yeah... apparently... he got his ass kicked on the first day haha!" The first girl finished talking as she looked down at her lunch and started eating. "I heard he was acting tough because he was the son of a big family... Lucky asshole." She said stirring her soup.

"Hey... who said you can talk at my table?" Delilah suddenly said looking over at the two girls that always followed her around. Ever since Hunter had left, she'd slowly changed, getting more aggressive and also smarter when coming to using her power, putting her at a higher rank in ability.

"S-Sorry Queen..." The first girl, Amy, said not looking into Delilah's eyes as a boy with grayish hair passed by the table... he was perfectly fine.

' I feel bad for that other transfer student... Japanese families aren't the same as American ones man... he shouldn't have bragged so much' Hunter thought to himself as he passed through the cafeteria, looking at his phone while secretly using the system to learn more about the functions of it.

He still had a couple of Gacha tickets he could use, with his luck rising a bit he should hopefully get something, instead of getting trash or nothing when he had used them earlier. He now only had the guaranteed Gold ticket, so he wasn't too worried about getting something bad.

"Hey dumbass..." Bree said sitting down at the empty bench in the next lunchroom. The way they were separated was due to rank, so Bree wasn't actually supposed to be here.

Yes, she was ranked just as high or even higher than Hunter, but she came from a weak family that wasn't special in any way, meaning she hadn't made it into a higher class.

"Hey, Bree…" Hunter replied as he put his phone away. Today was his first day of school so he already had a reason to be nervous, but there was also the fact that he would be going back to live with his family soon… something he was anxious for.

"What's your plan for school?... I was thinking of trying to become one of the class leaders… The queen of seniors is in my class… I don't get how she was able to not rank higher.

"The queen of seniors… who's the king?... and the rook?... there is also the bishop and pawn…and the knight, 6 rankings for each class, then for each grade…" Hunter said recalling the ranking system. He was pretty sure they were able to get the ranking system from Ordinary, a Korean webtoon that was pretty popular.

"I'm not sure… but I want to be Queen of the class… then maybe become the Queen of the entire grade…" Bree said as she pulled out a lunch made by her mom.

"Who Are your leaders?" Bree asked as she took apart a pop tart and bit into a piece. Hunter was about to reply before he received a slap on the back by one of the people he was about to mention.

"Hunter Frias!... damn man… haven't seen your weak ass since Damian… how did you make it into my class?" Daniel, one of Damien's old friends said to him as he sat down next to them, glancing Bree over a few times.

"Bree… meet Daniel… he's my classes rook…" Hunter said inwardly sighing as Daniel smirked, seeing this as a sign of submission by Hunter. "That's right… but why are you hanging with a loser like this?... I'm sure a girl as cute as yourself wou-" Daniel wasn't able to finish as Bree simply ignored him and turned back to Hunter.

"Aren't the leaders supposed to be strong?... so why does your class have one so weak?" Bree asked as Hunter choked on his pizza roll he was snacking on for lunch.

"The fuck did this bitch just say?" Daniel said as his eyes brimmed with anger, gripping Hunter's shoulder. "You must have told her some dumb shit right?... how dare you think just because your daddy is higher up than mine that you can talk all the shit you want… And you" Daniel sneered at Bree, "It seems you need a training session in manners…"

Daniel stood up as his skin seemed to gain a shiny hue to it, making him stand out in the higher-tier lunchroom. It was really just a lunchroom for all the 1A classes, freshman, sophomore, junior, and seniors, who were in the 1A class.

"Geez… all the time I thought Damian was the one who led your guy's group in assholery… who knew that when he was gone there would still be assholes…" Hunter said tired of Daniels bullshit.

Without even giving a warning, Danieal swung his fist straight at Hunter's face, planning on taking him out in front of everyone.

"Weak ass Rook…" Bree said as she extended her arm and blasted Daniel in the chest, taking him out quickly. His ability, Iron skin, gave him an increased dexterity, though in front of someone with so much attack power, he might as well have been made of dirt.

"*Sigh* Bree… you can't just mess with one of the royals of a different class…" Hunter said covering his face with a tired sigh.

Bree, shocked at being told off by the only person she knew at the school, glared at him. "Yeah? And why is that?" Bree asked though she found out only a second later.'

"You're pretty strong… though that doesn't mean anything if you're just gonna flail your hands around like a bitch in a catfight… come with me, new student… I'm sure after today you'll learn your lesson… and you…Frias… maybe warn her next time"

Hunter looked at the girl staring down at him with a sigh, she was the Queen, not only of his class but also of the entire school, the only reason Delilah was able to be the queen of the seniors was because Emily, the student council president, was the Queen of the school.

"Of course president… well I'm finished with my lunch now…I should get going… and Bree… good luck," Hunter said flashing a playful smile at the now frightened girl who was being dragged away by the president.

"Hunter…" A voice said as he walked out, looking to the side he saw the origin, a silver-haired girl looking at him with a shocked expression. "D-Delilah…" Hunter said with wide eyes. He'd actually forgotten that she would be going to this school. Hell, he thought she'd be in the junior classes if she were to come here.

Delilah stared at him for a few seconds before looking away and walking with her two extras. Hunter, not too surprised that she ignored him sighed. There were a lot of relationships he needed to fix… but first things first would be with his family...
