One day, monsters started to appear. Animals became monsters, and they also appeared from ‘Voids.’
Humans were just about to go extinct, when a mysterious aura enveloped earth. People started to develop abilities, and the world slowly changed.

Now, after many years, something extraordinary has happened. A human has obtained the System.

Read to see further details and such. Sorry if there is not updates fast enough. I’d say chapter 1 ‘The beginning after the end.’ Is a huge info dump so- ye.

Also, I’m a new writer if you didn’t know so, uh, don’t mind if I make mistakes and PLEASE correct them. I appreciate it, and if you do read this have a good time.

The System of the Rat

Tul was just about to lay down, when he heard another knock. He hastily walked towards the door.


He was quite annoyed because he obviously just closed the door on him to refuse. Wouldn't this man have common sense? "Tch, people nowadays. Always bothering me."


Tul opened the door and angrily said out of frustration, "What do yo-..." He stopped talking as he noticed it wasn't the same guy.


He quickly took back his statement and apologized, asking what the man needed. The man replied saying "Hello. Do you like animals, and as the specific animal, I mean rats..?"


Tul replied with a quick "Yes, I do. They are quite cute and I love them compared to most other animals. Rats are, I'd say, calm and cute creatures when buttered, but not tooken care of can lead to wild rats which is why most don't like them."


The man grinned stating "Aha, well we have a rat and you are our lucky winner. Do you want this rat? It is most definitely free." The man said, in a slick tone.


Tul slowly thought about it as he never have had a pet before. After thinking of all the care it might need but the fact he loved rats so much, he accepted. 


The man grinned widely and handed Tul the Rat and also said "This comes with a cage, and food plus water enough for today. This rat seems to eat a lot." And then the man snapped and teleported away with a huge smile.


Of course, Tul thought that it was his Fragment Wielder ability since teleportation was not even that rare of an ability. But that's what he thought, of course it couldn't be anything else. Probably.


He took the rat cage and was prepared to open it, and so he did. He opened it and saw a black fur coated rat squirming around. The rat had a nice shiny black fur, blackish-grey eyes, white teeth, and sharp claws in the shape of a crescent moon.


The rat was now his new pet, so of course he tried his best to take care of it. He was taking care of it for a while, and then something happened. Out of no where, he heard a ding. After he heard it he looked around, and next think you know, a blue screen with words appeared in front of him. 


He was extremely confused, a blue screen appeared in front of him, how is this possible. But, that didn't surprise him as much as what the words on it said.


Hello! It's me author-person thing (you get it.) I know that my chapters will be short and I'm sorry this one is EXTREMELY short but from now on I'll try my best to make them longer.
