before the elder was toying with the ladies before him now he was about to get serious. it was insulting before his power for these two weaklings to still be alive.

The fires on his palms intensified and the temperature in the cave rose drastically. He was a mid-level formation expert. Nothing near the level they could cope with. He laughed hysterically and the fires around his hand started to shrink.

The girls could feel the heat blasting on their faces. They both realized how deadly the situation was. But before they could come up with a plan, the elders' attack was upon them. The small fireballs in the elder's hand had spread into a net of smaller fireballs.

Numerous booms rang throughout the cave as well as the screams of Valencia and Lucy.

He watched as the fire blazed. This was what he was waiting for. The smell of burnt flesh once again assaulted his nose. The skill he used was very draining but it was worth it. The fire took a while to calm down but he did not mind. He would be able to see the fruits of his labor real soon.

But the reality was cruel. A large silhouette had rushed out of the fire. Upon closer inspection, he realised it was the strange girl with lucy over her shoulder

Valencia and Lucy were engulfed in the fire. The pain of being burned alive was intense. They were both screaming.

It was enough to knock her out but she knew she could not give up. She had to channel her power at a greater rate throughout her body. Faster than she ever has before. Her body was in a constant state of destruction and recovery. Lucy was going through the same thing but she couldn't stop herself from screaming, luckily she had the life link with Lucy or she would have long perished.

She could feel a transformation going on in her body. Not only was she rotating the holy power in her body but she was also trying to ignite it especially in her legs. Valencia had never been in a fistfight before but when it came to running away she had ample experience. She felt the energy in her depleting fast. She had to act. She quickly grabbed Lucy and dashed out. She had planned to run to the exit and inform the chief but the blast from the fire had discombobulated her senses. The direction she rushed out was the same direction the elder was standing.

The elder was once again shocked. The strange girl was approaching him with astonishing speed and she was even accelerating. It was too late for him to dodge so he braced himself for impact. He would take this blow and immediately retaliate taking this girl's life. Everything was too easy but he was not prepared for what happened next.

The girl had run directly into him. But she did not stop there. After the impact, the girl's speed did not slow down but continued to increase, smashing both of them into the cave wall. The whole cave shock. He felt he was hit by a mountain.

He did not account for her to be this strong and crazy. Every bone in his body had shattered upon impact. If it wasn't for the help of his Mid-level Foundation Qi protecting his body, he would have exploded.

"Gaaah!" he screamed as the pain of all his bones shattering assaulted his body

What he did not know was that Valencia was already pretty strong being at the 15th level. She was comparable to an early stage foundation expert in strength coupled with the effect of the Holy Habanero. A blow from Valencia was not something he could take. Even so, this was not the girl's true intention. He just happened to be in the way.

Valencia on the other hand only felt some slight pain. Due to her quick thinking, she was able to throw Lucy to safety before smashing into the elder. When the dust cleared they saw the image of the elder. He was embedded into the cave walls. His head slouched down and blood dripping from his mouth

He was dead.

Valencia has never killed anyone before. She stared at the lifeless bother of the elder. She looked down at her hands in shock. She was a young lady after all. She was about to lose it but then she heard Lucy's voice.

Lucy slowly got up off the ground. Even though her body was perfectly fine. The pain she went through had completely exhausted her mind and she would need a few days to rest but she needed to comfort her friend. It was the same for her when she had first taken a man's life. She walked over and hugged valencia.

After a while, Valencia calmed down and they decided to leave the cave and inform the village chief. Lucy made her way to the dead elder to search his body and received his storage bag. She did a quick scan of his belongings.

Before they left, Valencia had used the remaining of her power to suppress the flower. She had wanted to completely destroy it but Lucy held her back to wait on the village chief's opinion.

It would not suppress it for long and she would need to make regular visits to suppress it but at least now the villagers would be fine.

They decided to also leave the elder's body here. After finishing up everything they quickly made their way back to the village.

Meanwhile in the Royal palace

"My queen, the little wench has not been seen in her room for three days now. none of our scouts has seen or heard anything about her". Her bodyguard seems to be clueless about her disappearance as well but for safety measures. We have captured and locked him up.

The guard did not know how the queen would respond. He was unsure if she would be happy she was gone.

She was known to have a very eccentric personality. She had given strict orders to keep an eye on Valencia but now no one knew of her whereabouts.

The queen had expressed many times her hatred for the 5th princess. The queen was enraged. "How dare that ugly little wench leave without my permission." Her first thought was that Valencia ran away to be with the cultivator. The queen was normally calm and calculated but when it came to matters about valencia.

She roared. "Gathering a search party". "I want you to personally be in charge. I don't care If you have to scour the whole Hewan continent. Bring that little succubus bastard to me and on your way out, tell the other two scouts to go inform my children for a private meeting".

The queen wanted to act fast. Her husband was poisoned but if he caught wind of the 5th princess running away. He will be forced to act. Even his personal guards had direct instructions to bring Valencia away if anything ever happened to him.

He was forced by the queen. He tried to keep her as happy as possible even after he knew the queen had Valencia's mother killed. It was one of the biggest scandals to ever hit the royal palace and there were many speculations. She wanted to kill Valencia as well but the king would not allow it. He was the only reason Valencia was allowed to stay in the palace as long as she did. He secretly protected her and the queen was very much aware of it but she did not want to catch the full force of the king's ire.

But she knew how to deal with fools. She slowly picked up her wine and began to stir it. This was her very thing to do while she plotted. Her mind was in deep thought.

Cracks started to appear on the surface of the glass. If anyone else was in the room they would see the scary face that the queen was displaying. Her teeth were tightly cleansed and her eyes were in slits.

"What if that little wench ran away with my daughter's husband?" As soon as the thought appeared in her mind. Killing intent filled the chamber. The guards on the outside who were on their way to fetch the queen's children felt the icy chill behind them. They decided to increase their speed as they left for their duty.
