Cruden really hated people like this woman. He did not do anything to her but she wanted to decide his fate. He realized it was not only his previous master and the master of the house he just killed who shared this belief. The cultivation world was riddled with people who have god complexes.
Normally he would not have any means to resist but today was not the day.
The icy woman had conjured up a powerful attack. She no longer had the need to keep him alive. Her attack was a bit excessive but now he had to die.
She had naturally thought that the area was weird. One strange occurrence after another. A demon child and a wandering soul. Her mind continuously processed everything that happened so far and she felt very uneasy. She would kill this insolent child, capture him and return with reinforcements. She does not know what will happen if she stays longer.
Even though this was one of her clones. She had countless years nurturing this clone for it to reach the same realm as her. She did not want to sacrifice it here.
Her true body was an extreme yin qi peak nascent soul cultivator only one step away from the spirit formation stage.
As a nascent soul cultivator. She was revered. Even other nascent soul cultivators WOULDN'T dare disrespect her think in this shithole of a country this boy was not only being insolent but extremely overbearing. Her name was Freya but no one dared utter her name. She was known as the Ice celestial ruler of the ice imperial palace.
The martial world was full of strange phenomena but She was always careful. She checked her storage ring and took out two more talismans that joined the other and circled around her.
It was then an immense pressure descended on her and the whole world before she went back. Even the sun in the sky could not be seen.
She thought an old monster had appeared. For someone to be able to alter a whole region like this he must be someone stronger than her true body. Her heart sank. She naturally had an icy countenance but if one were to look at her face it had a deep sense of worry. Her body involuntarily shuddered. The instinct of sheer panic.
Her eyes looked around and she was able to see a glimmer of light. It was coming from the direction of the boy. She thought her attack had crushed the boy to death but her attack had been stopped.
On the other end of her attack. Cruden was experiencing immense pain. Upon activating the tyrant skill. Darkness hastily escaped from his body painting the whole area black. Blood was coming from all his orifices. The pain he was experiencing was on another level. It felt like his insides were caving in and pressing tightly together but at the same time, they were twisting and expanding.
His HP continuously dropped. He had expected all this to happen but not the pain. He felt his body rapidly getting weaker and weaker. Valencia could feel the pain and encased his body in light. Her actions had lessened the pain but his HP still continued to fall.
He could feel the warmness and worry coming from the light. Through his gritted teeth told her he was okay. He did not scream or cry out in pain. He thought this was a test from his lord.
But he would never know that Void could never have foreseen the aftereffect of the skill.
His HP continuously dropped until there was 10% left. When it reached 10% all the darkness that escaped his body charged towards him and re-entered his body.
His notification panel had a few changes.
Level:20/40 HP: 50/500 Mana: 125/250 Status: Critical

The icy woman felt the space restriction disappear. She didn't waste any time and slap a talisman on her chest. Her body shot out like a shooting star.
But she did not get too far. A dark mass of energy rushed after her at terrifying speed. The mass of light reached her in seconds. It expanded and crashed down on her like a wave.
Multiple cracking sounds cried out. The talismans that were surrounding the icy woman began to break one by one. She was very alarmed. Each talisman had the power to defend an early nascent soul attack and when they were used together not even a mid-nascent soul could compromise its defenses.
Her situation had turned from bad to worse. If she doesn't act soon she will perish. She spat some blood on the talisman she had stuck on her chest. Momentarily granting her enough speed to break free from her entrapment.
She looked at the terrifying mass of darkness. Her face was laced with anger. But underneath that facade she was worried.
She wanted to only escape at this moment. She was thinking about her next course of action when she heard the voice of the boy.
"You attacked me, almost took my life, embarrassed me before my lord and you expect me to just let you leave? I don't think so." The mass of darkness quickly materialized into Cruden but there were a few changes.
His body was more muscular and mature than the frail body she was used to. Even though his face was a bit aged and he had the appearance of a late teen. She could tell it was the same boy.
Crow was now awake watching the fight. Her vision was blurry and she was barely able to distinguish her surroundings. She knew what this meant but in the next second her body was no longer freezing and heavy. At some point, Valencia had made her way to crow and healed him of the yin Qi along with the unconscious girl.
Cruden had asked her to heal Crow before he left. She had sensed crows' suffering and acted quickly. Initially, Crow had his guard up but the strange light had healed him due to the Extreme Yin Qi in the surrounding. Valencia had to constantly protect Crow and the unconscious girl.
Valencia didn't speak. she was too busy worrying about Cruden.
Crow watched with his eyes wide. He saw the evil woman being attacked by a strange darkness. He knew it was Cruden but she refused to believe it. He sensed terrifying energy coming from him that caused his eyes to hurt just staring at his back.
His eyes moved to The woman who seemed to be trying to escape. He was very confused but happy.
His life was now in the life of his stupid junior. He was not very hopeful but He secretly prayed for his victory.
The icy woman knew there was no way for her to escape. Somehow the boy's strength had increased tremendously.
This must be a forbidden technique and it must have its drawbacks, she thought. All she had to do was wait it out.
"I'll have your tongue for talking to me in that manner". Never in her life and she experienced such treatment.
She raised her hand and an intricate long blue sword appeared. When the sword appeared a roar of a beast rang out. This was the best sword in her arsenal. It was called Blue Tear, a high-earth-grade artifact. Its origins were unknown but she found it on one of her expeditions. Artifacts had many tiers, each tier representing its grade and power. There were three grades: mortal grade, earth grade, heavenly grade, and cosmic.
A high-earth-grade artifact had tremendous power rivaling the attack of a nascent soul. They were very rare and not every cultivator could possess one.
Cruden of course did not know this but when the sword appeared. He knew the battle was about to get intense. He sensed the malicious energy the sword possessed and his sharp sense skill felt the energy vibrations it exuded.
His heart sped up faster. Cruden cracked his neck and smiled devilishly at the icy woman. All of the power he now wielded and the thrill of battle excited him
"Are you gonna prepare all day or we gonna rumble"
Their bodies flashed. The icy woman stabbed out her sword in succession. Multiple sword shadows lashed out.
"Die! You cockroach!!"
Everywhere the blade went blue light would follow. Cruden saw the sword lights but did not falter. If it was before she would have succumbed to such a horrifying attack but with his sharp sense even though the blade was moving too fast for his eyes to see. He could sense the trajectory.
His body moved. Slash after slash missed.
His reflexes were +4 that coupled with his +4speed. His hands took the stance of a snake and lashed out deflecting each sword strike. Sparks would fly everything his hands met the blade.
With his analysis skill, he was able to perfectly deflect each blade. Even though the skill was only LVL 1. With his +4 defense, it would be hard to break his skin. He had the body of a powerful body cultivator.
A huge gale erupted with each clash. The icy woman pulled back her sword and raised it high in the air and slashed down.
A large ice dragon rushed out! Cruden dodged the attack again and used its back to close in on the woman.
The ice dragon roared and tiny snake-like dragons rushed out from its back. They fiercely attacked. Cruden was preparing to dodge them when they all started to explode.
Each explosion would cause glacial flowers to bloom. All the dragons detonated at once trapping Cruden in a field of ice.
After all the ice dragon detonated, Cruden's Hp dropped from 25 to 9. Luckily he had a high defense. He could not allow this to continue. His body moved with his +5 defense and it did not take long to shake off the ice.
He had to end this battle quickly. He checked his panel and there was only 1 minute and 09 seconds left. His mana had dropped to 50. He no longer had time to play around.
Cruden prepared himself to end this battle. He put one foot forward with his knees slightly bent with his hands crossing each other covering his face then he slowly widened his legs and arms. It was a result of his KUNG FU passive skill.
His bearing completely changed. He was like a beast preparing to attack
The icy woman took the time to distance herself when Cruden was trapped. She was afraid of the black mass of energy that attacked her previously. It would be best for her to stay in a defensive stance but she decided on the battle of attrition. Her goal was for him to exhaust his power.
Plus she was also afraid of his monstrous strength and body. Earlier when they were exchanging blows she felt a repulsive force coming from his body. No matter how skillful she wielded the sword it could not scratch his body. She knew all too well the power of her sword.
The atmosphere suddenly changed and the air became very dense. She saw the boy preparing his attack. She felt the terrifying wave of pressure being built up around him. She could tell this attack was not ordinary.
It was no longer about surviving. One of them had to die. She gritted her teeth, the last man that made her this angry had his entire bloodline obliterated.
If looks could kill, Cruden would have died a million times over. They were no longer normal enemies. one could not be allowed to exist
Cruden saw her raise her sword but her next action caught him off guard. She used her sword to slash multiple parts of her body each wound deeper than the next. She started from her feet up to her chest where she finally stopped.
Blue blood began to ooze from her wounds. Her face grimaced and she appeared to be in immeasurable pain. The blue blood was pure yin qi mixed with her blood from her yin meridians.
As soon as the blood appeared, It swiftly rushed into blue tears. It was better to say blue tears were absorbing it. The more blood the sword absorbed the brighter it glowed. The sword had an insatiable appetite; luckily it stopped before its owner died.
A loud roar sounded from the sword. It vibrated without end.
The woman seemed to have aged considerably. Her hair had many white streaks and her skin was not as luscious as before. She did not want to resort to such a move. It would take her years to recover from such an injury. She had sacrificed her blood essence for this attack.
She raised the sword up and with her arm stretched she formed a circle with her at the center. Everywhere the sword went light would glow, with her sword drawn. She pointed it at Cruden with her other hand touching the blade. It looked like she was about to fire an arrow.
"Before you die, you should know that it was I, the ice celestial that killed you!"
Cruden laughed mockingly, "and before you die, not all ants are to be stepped on!"
