Her Dream

Last day of school ugh cant wait for the end of this day. I don't even have plans for my summer 


"Lizzy get yourself downstairs you're gonna be late for school"shouts my mom interrupting me from my thoughts. 


"Be downstairs in a minute" I shout back. Since this is the last day before summer i decide to wear my white crop top hoodie and denim skirts with my vans yo go with it since i dont even have anyone to dress for in school. 


By the time i get downstairs my mom has already prepared pancakes with strawberry syrup for me just the way i like it. I eat my food silently looking at my mother I just love the way she adjusted to my dads absence and i look up to her every time. 


"What are you staring at?" She asks quizically . "Ugghm nothing" i reply not wanting to tell her what i was just thinking about . 


"Have you got any plans for this summer?" she asks 


She reminds me of her close friend at work and her twin daughters and how she and her friend are going to be busy this summer and how she would like me to babysit them 


I agree to this not wanting to ruin their plans . 


I finally get up to go to school and i give my mom a tight hug before leaving to school.
