CHAPTER 20: ✓New partners.

Things couldn't get worse, now she was being totally disowned by most of the students, the punishment that those girls gave her was the worst that a student could receive.

All due to immaturity, we were older and we should behave as such, but those girls did not think so. Obviously they denied everything, but not for something did they call the University of Illinois the best, so I dare say that the cameras said the opposite.

They were totally immature, Barbara Lincoln was suspended for the rest of the semester that means that she has missed almost a year of classes, which she will not be able to make up for as much as she wants. Mia Torres and Anne Coleman have been suspended as well, with the exception that they will no longer be on the soccer team.

I know more than anyone what karma is, and I wouldn't even dare to challenge it.

But things did not stay that way, I had to take some exams again because as I said before the parents of those girls were known and from high society, so if their daughters were reprimanded for what they did to me they would make my life more complicated than it already was, so I had to present some tests that I had already done, until today I was able to finish I can confirm that I am not well at all because my head hurts and I am tired.

Gema is with me outside waiting for the teachers who are correcting the exams and although I should be nervous I am not, I know myself so well that I would never forget anything about my studies, a career that I love so much but hate at the same time.

"This is unfair, but I know you are brilliant, my Lette." Gema confesses.

He smiled tenderly, I hold his hand and give it a gentle squeeze to calm his nerves.

"Everything will be fine, Gema, you'll see." I give her a strong hug.

Barbara was totally lost in thought, obviously if she dismounted that I had not cheated she would be in serious trouble, but if it was the opposite I would be expelled.

Time flew by, when the teachers finished correcting and deliberating information among themselves, that's when the director ordered to open the door of the room for us to enter.

Once seated, the director speaks seriously, he had no expression on his face which made things difficult for us, we could not find out what was happening before his lips said it.

"I am totally disappointed, but even more upset by everything that has happened since we are an example institution and this situation has gone very far." Every word says it determinedly, it was frustrating because I wanted the time to go quickly.

"Therefore I have to say only one thing, Miss Weston I apologize for the inconvenience caused. You can retire and take three days off, we expect you in a few days. Excellent notes, keep it up." He smiles happily.

Gema yelled at the sky, after that we went home calmly. We were very tired so this day we did not sleep and we took advantage of the fact that the company had given Gema a few days to take care of me.

The following days I no longer received so much abuse, it was something like forbidden to play, so the rest of the year I had a quiet time as it must have been all this time, although they did not stop me from doing evil things overnight, but they were bearable.

Delivering the last work and the last year exhibition was extremely stressful but I had to achieve the best score, it should be noted that I did not do it alone.

I was accompanied by two more girls, each one had worked hard for these last jobs so we hoped we could meet the teacher's expectations.

"As we were saying, each anatomy is different, we will not know if at some point we will not see a tumor embedded in a bone, but that is why we must do this test first to rule out. Nor is it that we are going to do a lot of tests that will only confirm how incompetent the doctor can be. You should first deliberate before doing an examination through the anus, while the tumor is in the bones." He made his point, and to tell the truth I liked the way he put it.

It was unique to make everyone laugh, even the teacher did. We had already finished exposing and all we were waiting for was the teacher's email notifying that we had approved his subject.

"Thank you Greta, and you too Luz, it was a pleasure to have made a group with you." I said sincerely, she nodded and said goodbye.

"Goodbye Colette. "

"Goodbye girls. "

The first winter holidays had arrived, I could give more time to my work although Gema did not know I had to keep hiding that secret, she would not take it well at all.

I said goodbye, now I was on my way to the famous Hotel Luna, which was one of the best hotels to live together, the shows that were present in the place were the best. I had to start practicing a lot for my show so I could get enough to pay the bank a few months in advance.

I would also like to rest and also have some money to buy food and buy a gift for Gema.

I take a bus to go to work, it was far away and I couldn't get sweaty. One of the rules of the place was to arrive representable, so I could not walk, much less arrive sweaty.

During the trip, I think about how I could be the best dancer of the place and of the times, because I needed this streak at work to last more than four years without being able to stop any moment, until now I had my identity out of reach of all. Nobody knew me, more than morbid it was perfect for my state.

"For the stop please." I announce as I get up from my seat to get to the exit of the bus.

He stops at the stop, I immediately get out of the bus. I walk without any concern, I could not get there just because, I should give the impression of someone important. Or that was what Mayra Martinez had told me, since when I was new the boss had gotten angry because they wouldn't let me in, the reason for it; "It looked like anybody."

"Hello Casey, how are you doing?" Greetings courteously.

"Hello Chloe, well, you?" She asks elegant, everything in her gave off elegance.

"Well, now that I'm here I wanted to talk to the boss." I say as I put on the black mask.

"He said he would talk to you when you gave him results, remember that you haven't danced for two weeks," he says calmly.

I look around, she just looks at me annoyed, she doesn't like me rolling her eyes or rolling them.

"Okay, that's why I'm here. I have come to make me earn a lot of money and to be able to obtain what I also want." I comment annoyed.

I was going to make the rest of the remaining weeks of this year earn so much money that now I would not have to ask or rather beg for him to take care of me, it was extremely annoying.

It was something she wasn't proud of, but she had to. I started up, trained and rehearsed so much that my legs couldn't do any more.

I had set a goal for myself, it was to achieve my personal goal, where only Carlos and I existed.
