CHAPTER SIX

"I can't believe you would do such a thing to me! I am your lover and queen! Am supposed to be the only woman by your side and bearing you children! Yet an outsider comes here claiming that you are the father to a little girl right after your visit to the North! Tell me it's a lie that you did not throw all our hard work for your selfish pleasure!" Queen Yamina yelled as thunder boomed outside the palace and the ground shook.

The woman held her child regretting coming here, but she needed to do this, or else the war was going to be lost. The child in her arms giggled at the Queen who glared at it, her orange eyes looking into bright big green eyes, like fire and a forest. And when fire touches the forest, it is to be burnt.

"The child will stay Yamina and that is final! Orion, get the girl and take her to your room!" the king boomed angrily and frustrated that the wind clashed outside. This was the power of royalty; earth shaking, enormous, and majestic. It is said that one royal can destroy an army of a thousand within mere minutes. Royals were to be respected just by their name, power and aura.

There are four kingdoms: North kingdom, South kingdom, West kingdom and East kingdom. The four kingdoms lived in perfect harmony until the North decided to cast themselves away from the other kingdoms and attacking them mercilessly and leaving no soul to tell the tale.

To find the cause and reason of the North's rebellion against the four kingdoms, King Thomas of the East with his right hand man, Sir Louis, and his butler, Rodrick, traveled to the north. The journey took seven days due to the North building their kingdom in an isolated area that was once said to be cursed.

Immediately they stepped foot in the northern Kingdom, twenty northern soldiers surround them, arms raised in case they are told to use magic "To what do we owe this unexpected visit King Thomas?" a man asked walking towards them with a posture that showed respect and an aura that demanded fear, Sir Anthony, the Queen's right hand man and brother.

"Am here on behalf of the three kingdoms to speak to Amara" King Thomas said and the snow beneath his feet began to shake "Am afraid, the queen is not receiving any visitors at the moment. If that is all, I am giving you ten minutes off our kingdom, or the consequences will not be good for trespassing" Sir Anthony said turning around and walking back to his tea before it got cold dismissing the lion cub who was yet to know how to roar.

He halted in his steps feeling the wind begin to pick up, Sir Anthony created a pillar of ice and jumped just in time for slashes of air to penetrate the ground were he once stood, Sir Anthony's eyes began to glow as he faced the King of the East " I am not leaving until, I speak to your queen"

Voices. Voices echoed around her. It was like they were trying to tell her something, trying to warn her, but she could not understand against what or who. They began to whisper, scream, yell, and mumble making her feel frustrated. "stop" she wanted to say but her voice betrayed her "please stop!" she wanted to yell but nothing came out.

Then it became quiet, only her rigid breathing filled the dark place she was in "Is anyone there?!" she called out wanting to go home, silence answered her "Can anyone hear me?!" she asked growing scared, but a small white ball came falling towards her from the above, but it was not alone. A million small black balls followed the white ball that decided to settle on her hair.

The black balls started to twirl and swirl around her violently, cutting and tearing her, pain cruised through her entire being as the began to close the distance between them. The sound of a clock ticking reached her ears, and she noticed a shadow standing next to a large glowing clock "time is running out" the voices spoke and she yelled, and this time her voice did not betray her like before "Pause!"

Gasping for air like she ran for miles, Alpha jolted awake clenching her chest feeling the rapid beating of her heart 'it was all a dream, but it felt so real' she thought and opened her eyes to what looked like a tent, and then every thing came crushing against her skull like a hammer; the argument with Orion, the journey to the Southern Kingdom, and been abducted.

She stood up on shaky legs, oblivious to the man leaning against the wall behind her watching her with a mischief smirk on his pale lips "Hello! Can anyone hear me?!" she called out wrapping her arms around her as the temperature began to drop "People can hear you," a deep voice echoed making Alpha jump a little and face the source, a man, a gorgeous man.

His pale skin looked cold and smooth, the pink rosy color of his lips looked red against his skin, and the deep dark blue eyes that looked at her like his prey. He wore a large white winter jacket that reached mid-thigh, and a light blue trousers that was tucked into black shiny boots. His posture was stiff but relaxed, and he had this aura around him that Alpha couldn't even describe it but it told her to run.

"But they won't do anything" He said pushing himself off the wall and walking towards her as she took multiple steps back making him smirk with pride, he loves this game, he loves when his prey gets scared knowing they have reached the end. And soon he was standing in front of her caging her between a wall and him, the devil's incarnated.

He leaned close to her face like he was going to kiss her that her eyes closed on their own accord, his breath warmed her ear as he spoke "Welcome Lady Alpha of the East to the North"
