School's First Day

Currently, Tiara is bathing then breastfeeding Leo, until he fall asleeps, then usually he will wake up again at about 9-10 a.m.

While wait Leo wakes up, she prepares the breakfast for them, especially for Mike who will go to work and Lily, before she goes to school.

Yes, today is Lily's first school day at kindergarten, named TK Bunda, with her age that almost reach 6 years old, but she puts to the B class directly.

Well, usually at kindergarten, there are two classrooms, the first is A class, and the second is B class.

Normally, the kids that go to kindergarten for the first time, should put to A class first, then after about year, they are will ascend to B class.

But for some cases, the parents could put their kids to the B class directly, with an approval from the school side, like Lily's case.

According to Mike and Tiara, this method is more efficient, so that Lily doesn't need to consume more time at kindergarten.

Beside, Lily herself now already can read and do sums, although it still bit by bit.

"Daddy, you will drop me to school, right?"

Ask Lily whose start to devour her fried rice.

That is their favorite breakfast, beside omelette and chicken porridge.

"Of course, honey, more over, this is your first day of school, I will accompany you...but not for a whole day, because I must go to work...I'm sorry, honey."

"That's okay, Dad...Mommy? Will you accompany me?"

Tiara kneel down in front of her daughter and caress her cheek.

"I'm sorry, honey, I cant accompany you, either."

"Why?"

"Because I will go to the doctor appointment, checking up for Leo."

"Oh, is Leo okay? Is he sick?"

Tiara chuckle slightly.

Lily is something else, sometimes she will super worried about her little brother, without no reason at all.

And she is independent enough for a child at her age.

That's why Mike and Tiara are really proud of her, and love her so much.

"No, honey, Leo is fine, this is just a monthly check up, and it must done for every baby, to assure that the baby is health."

"Oh, okay...then come on, Dad, I want to go to school so badly, and I'm sure I will have new friends, and then I will invite them to our house, for playing, is that okay, Mom, Dad?"

"Of course, honey, if you promise to play finely, and not have a fight, can you do that?"

Tiara ask her carefully.

"Of course, Mom, I promise."

"That's our good girl, and our big girl."

Now, it's Mike whose answer her.

They chuckle humorously.

"Oh, by the way, will Rhonda also go to my school?"

Lily ask again.

"Of course, honey."

Again, Mike answer her.

"Hooray! Yaaay! Come on, Dad! Quick!"

"Calm down, honey, I will grab my bag first, why don't you grab your school bag too?"

"Oh...yeah, I almost forgot!"

Lily run back to her room.

Mike and Tiara just chuckle again.

A few minutes later, Lily is ready.

"I'm ready!"

Then she kiss the back of Tiara's palm, for farewell.

Tiara caress her head.

"Okay, be careful, honey."

"Yes, Mom."

Then Tiara kiss the back of Mike's palm, and Mike kiss her forehead.

"Be careful, Mike."

"Of course, sweety...oh, by the way, today I assigned to go outside town, for several days, for work," Mike said.

"Huh? Really?" Tiara answers surprised.

Why didn't Mike mention it before? Usually, if it's the case, he will mention it the days before.

"Yes, really...I'm sorry, I just assigned to it today. My boss just message me several minutes ago."

"Oh, that's okay, Mike, but have you pack your things? Let me help you."

"No, no, I already pack it right after receive the message."

"Oh, okay then."

Suddenly Mike seems so nervous.

"Mike, are you alright?"

"Oh...yes, I'm fine, I'm so sorry, Tia."

"Huh? For what?"

Tiara ask confusedly.

"For this outside town assign."

"Oh."

Tiara chuckle humorously.

"That's okay, Mike, it's often happens before, why are you apologize now?"

"Nothing really, just want to apologize this time."

They laugh awkwardly, why is it so awkward?

"Daddyyy! Come on! I don't want to be late!"

Lily start whining.

Tiara and Mike chuckle again, and just like the awkwardness vanish immediately, like it's never happened.

"Okay, honey, I'm ready now!"

Mike answer her.

"Just go, Mike, I don't want Lily to die for boredom."

They chuckle again, soon it change to laugh, because the pout on Lily's lips.

"Okay, okay, come on, Lil."

Mike kiss Tiara's forehead again.

"I'm so sorry, sweety."

Tiara furrows her eyebrows, why does his husband always apologize? Is something wrong?

She try to hold back that question, afraid that Lily is late.

"Bye, Mommy!"

"Bye, honey!"

"Bye, Tiara, I'm so sorry."

Again with the apologize from Mike. It's like they will never see each other again.

"Bye, Mike! And be careful you two!"

Lily run out excitedly and go into the car, that the lock already open.

Mike and Tiara chuckle again.

"I love you, Tiara."

"I love you too, Mike."

Again, the strange feeling is back to Tiara, what happen?

Mike go into the car too, and start the ignition, then wave to Tiara, before back away to the street.

Tiara wave him back, she feels the sadness creep into her heart, until her tears drop.

She don't know why, and she really hope that everything is fine.
