Myra could only sigh and close her eyes, sick that she had to deal with this nearly every day. She wondered why people were so obsessed with her long hair. She was also upset to learn that few people were aware of her identity.

"No need to thank me. I was just doing my job. Make sure she gets a lot of rest. She's been through a lot today. For a 6-years old kid, she sure is a fighter." The doctor smiled softly. 


"Yes. She's my little warrior." I said as I affectionately caressed Elena's cold cheek. 


"Thank you once again," Xavier spoke up and held out his hand. 


The doctor hesitated but nevertheless, he took Xavier's hand and shook them. He looked at Xavier sceptically, like he was questioning Xavier. I could sense some tension between these two. Do they know each other? 


"Yeah. I'll take my leave first. Have a good day." 


Xavier nodded curtly as a response before he accompanied the doctor outside.
