The Eternal Secret

"What the..?" I push back my chair getting as far away from my reflection as possible. I'm going crazy. First my medicine not working, and now I'm hallucinating. I start shaking. I need to call someone. I try calling my mom, but when I do it says "This phone number has been disconnected." Oh god. I don't know what's going on. 


I sit on my bed again trying to gather my thoughts when I hear something in the kitchen. It sounds like someone is in my apartment. Now I'm sure I'm crazy. 


I hear footsteps nearing my room. I'm too in shock to move as a man stalks into my room. 


"There you are." He says while giving me a creepy smile. "..and aren't you quite the beauty" looking me up and down. 


"Who..what are you doing in my apartment?" I yell in fear. I feel my knees wanting to buckle as I try to stand my ground. 


"You're coming with me. We can do this the easy way or the hard way." He says with a look of determination. He wants me to fight him. 


I quickly look around for anything around me to be used as a weapon, but there's nothing. The man is standing right in front of the door way, there is no escape.
