Five years later
New York (June 25th, 2019)
Amara was walking down the corridor when her pager beeped. She was needed in the emergency room as they just received a call from the EMT about an incoming patient who had face avulsion and degloving injury. This is a very rare type of case.
This is her second year of practicing medicine as a full licensed doctor. She came back to Manhasset, New York, after her graduation and started her internship in North Shore University Hospital. Currently she is doing her residency for emergency medicine.
Amara rushed to the emergency room to help assist the attending physician to prep for the patient’s arrival. It was challenging and scary when she first started her residency but it has been 9 months now and she is slowly getting used to it.
