Amara was taking care of an elderly patient with a penetrating injury through the hypothenar region, when she felt her phone buzz in her pocket. 


After finishing with her patient, Amara excused herself to the washroom and saw the message. 


Amara smiled at Kylie’s message and responded, “I’m fine Kylie, please have fun, otherwise Eli will complain that I’m hogging his wife even on his honeymoon.” 


“Are you sure?” Kylie probed in her text message. 


Amara sent her a selfie with a grin on her face showing her teeth and a thumps up. 


Kylie sent back a short video where Eli was running away from a Chihuahua on the beach. 


She chuckled under her breath while seeing the video. 


Amara sighed thinking about the wedding three days ago. 


Eli and Kylie’s mother had booked a room in the hotel where the reception would take place for the newlyweds to spend time together for a little while.
