Aiden stood outside with police vehicles. He had a victorious grin on his face. She saw the Bentley and two black SUV’s parked along the street and Aiden’s body guards standing there, waiting for his orders. There were two police vehicles and officers stood outside her front yard.
“Good morning,” Aiden chirped.
“What are you doing here? Why are the police here?” Amara nervously choked out.
“Why do you think they are here?” Aiden smiled cunningly.
“Ma’am we are here to see Mr Samuel Brown. Is he home?” one of the police officer’s asked.
“Regarding what?” Amara asked, she tried to seem brave but who was she kidding. She knew why they were here but still played oblivious.
“We have a warrant against him for larceny from Mcalvey Industries.” The officer responded handing the papers to Amara to view.
At the same time Samuel’s voice can be heard from the kitchen, “Amara who is it?”
