It was 4:30 in the afternoon. Amara’s hair was being curled by a hair dresser. She wore an emerald green, silk, mermaid strapless long dress.
The hair dresser was praising her beautiful features as he did her hair. When he was done, he brought the black stiletto for her to wear.
The hairdresser squealed in excitement as he saw her final look. “Your man will eat you tonight,” he clapped his hands.
Amara thanked him as he packed to leave.
She was getting dressed in one of the guest bedrooms. She sat down on the bed, smoothing out her dress. She thought back to her conversation with Aiden.

“Where is my father?” she studied his face.
Aiden blankly stared at her for a while, not giving anything away.
“He’s fired,” he added after a while and continued reading.
“You said you would leave him alone after I married you. Where is my father Aiden?” Amara smacked her hand against his desk.
Aiden’s eyes widened slightly, caught off guard.
