Eli sat on the uncomfortable chair opposite the officer who was noting down the statements.
He looked around the spacious room they sat in with only a table and two chairs which are currently occupied by them. The atmosphere was chilling and not at all pleasant. He glanced to his right noticing the two way mirror knowing well that there were other detectives and officers behind it, listening and studying his movements.
“Mr. Diaz,” the detective nodded in acknowledgment.
“Would you like to tell me everything from the start?”
Eli sighed for what seemed like to be the hundredth time today. He thought back to how he found out the hideous truth about his wife.

Eli was pacing in his house in anxiousness. He didn’t know how he could help Amara, plus they needed to find out who was after her.
Frustrated and couldn’t think of anything, Eli went up to the attic. He rarely came up here, this was his wife’s solidarity place. He wanted to calm his nerves down.
