Chapter-3

Myra's [P.O.V]

Yesterday, after the encounter with Mrs. Seema was like a dramatic scene for me. This is making me so tensed even now. My anxiety levels are going high. I'm literally sweating wtf. She sure is a amazing woman but she intimidates me with her appearance I dunno why. But yeah she is a good woman. I smile to myself.

Whenever I used to visit Advik's house when we were together. She used to feed me so many delicious things and I used to think that I'm going to get the best mother-in-law. But guess, destiny played its cards and I'm the only one who's going through all the hardships whereas him, he must be chilling somewhere in the corner of the world with other women's not knowing he has daughter

Would he even care when he gets to know he has a daughter? Absolutely not. He just knows how to make his desires come true.

I just have Avni and I'm going to be the best parent I can be. She doesn't needs a dad. Her mom is enough for her.

Now I'm just fearing over the fact that Mrs. Seema doesn't tell Advik that she met me. Tho she promised me, but it's her son and according to her he obviously has to know about all these things.

But wait, he won't care right? I mean he said to Abort his first child itself. He is a heartless person and he just cares about his needs only. I hate him with so much passion.

I was busy in my own thoughts until I heard a knock on the door.

I didn't realised I was staring at my laptop while thinking so I closed it.

"Come in" I said. It turns out to be Shaina, her hands were crossed and she was looking at me through pierced eyes. Damn don't scare me.

I made a face like 'what happened' but when I didn't get anything in response. I finally gave in, "Why are you looking at me this way"

"Seriously you are asking me this? Myra, Avni's School time is over she must be waiting for you".

Oops! I forgot about Avni. This is all because of that Stupid.

I have to pick her up from the school. I hurriedly start putting my things in my handbag and replied to Shaina "Thanks, Shaina for reminding me I actually forgot about Avni in all my work"

She was still in her crossed arms position and staring at me with a plain face, "Take care of my Avni. These projects can be seen later too"

"Yeah, yeah. You love her more than me" I smirked half.

"Ofcourse" she replied with enthusiasm

"By the way I'm taking a half-day today so yeah tell Vivaan that I'm going because of Avni"

Shaina nodded and said "Yes,

Myra don't worry I'll tell Vivaan. Drive safely and take care of yours and Avni"

I gave her the most genuine and appealing smile and made my way out of the cabin. I don't know why but Shaina was becoming a close friend. She is more likely to be my lil sister. I am happy that I gained a good friend like her.

I walked towards the car and started driving. I took a glance at my watch It was 3:15 PM right now and Avni's school would leave at 3: 30 I smiled slightly I want to hear how her day went. How many friends she made. Who is her favourite teacher and what stuffs she did all day. I want to hear all of it. I mean of course that's what all the mom's do? Isn't it?

She is the only source of my happiness in my life. Coming out of the ocean of my thoughts I reached at school. I got up from my driver's seat and made my way towards the school campus.

Soon the kids came from the building. I was waiting for Avni to come. After few minutes I saw her. She came running to me with happiest smile on the face and said "Mumma, what you said was true I made new friends 2 are girls and 3 are boys we are a team of 6 yay!" I was glad that she made new friends I said her "Wow baby, that's great. You made so many friends in just 2 days.

"Yes mumma" she said with a cute smile playing on her lips

"So what do you want to do, would you like to make your mumma meet your new friends or shall we proceed to go home?" She was listening to me as well as searching for something I guess she was searching her new friends.

She then replied "Of course mumma, I want to make you meet my friends" she took my hand and started walking towards the garden where all the kids were playing and having fun with their friends she then took me to her group and started introducing everyone "Mumma, this is Ahaan, Shalini, Priya, Adrith and Parth" I smiled at everyone I was going to say something but by then a lady came and she said "Parth beta! Let's go." I guess she was his mom. I gave her a smile and said "Hello, what's your name?"

"I'm Aarohi Gill and what's yours?"

I replied "Myself Myra Bedi"

She was very kind and humble. I exchanged our phone numbers and bid a goodbye because I was tired and it was a long day for me.
