Reconnect

Adam confirmed what I thought when he said his eyes turning grey meant he was becoming territorial. I reminded him that I was pregnant with our baby and the revelation washed over him. Once we cleared everything up, we walked back hand in hand. 


"So, did you figure anything else out?" I asked. Braxton picked his head up, he had been crying. 


"I told him what happened. We just finished telling him about your pregnancy before you came back..." My dad looked ashamed. 


"You already moved on." Braxton dropped his eyes to the floor. 


"Braxton, at the time I didn't have my memories. You broke up with me. When I did get my memories back it felt like I had spent years without you. I didn't mean to move on so fast but it didn't feel like it was fast. You just disappeared and Adam was there for me. In his support, I fell for him. I don't know what to say." I kept a hold of Adams hand scared to let go. 


"But I didn't break up with you!" He shouted.
