Night walk

[Erza's pov] I was walking through the campus at night as I was feeling uneasy in the room, so I came out to get some fresh air. Suddenly I heard a cat's voice, I started looking for it.

Oh my poor cat , her leg was stumbled by a stone. She was crying in pain. I immediately went there and removed that stone from her leg. I hold her in my arms and caressed her legs as it was bleeding. I took out my handkerchief and tied it around her legs.

She stopped crying and was now comfortable. As she was at ease now, I gave her my snacks to eat. "Awwwww, you are so cute, I wish I could take you with me, but I can't I am sorry🥺". I arranged a box and put her into it, as I started to leave she started to make sounds as she wanted to say don't leave me , but I can't do anything I can't take her with me, animals are not allowed in dorms.

Unwillingly I left her and started heading towards dorm. As I reached my dorm I started to think , I can't let her go , she is so small, what if a dog attacks her, oh my god I should get her and I started running to the place where I left her.

When I reached there , I saw something amazing. It was professor!!!!. He was holding her in his arms. He was actually talking with the cat , I can't control and started laughing at his words. Hearing my laughter he looked at me , " Miss erza?" he surprisingly said.

"Ahhh sir, I mean hello sir", I said. "Are you also here for the cat?", he asked me. " Yes sir!" I said and told him the whole story. He assured me that he will accept the cat and will take care of the cat until someone takes her in. I was surprised by those words and was very happy for the cat. "You can visit her anytime miss erza", professor said and left that place.

I kept wondering what he was trying to say, is he telling me that I can visit his home to see the cat ? Whatever I will ask him tomorrow after the lecture and directly went to my room.
