----------

All of them stopped by Orb's signal and looked at him. "Watch them carefully!"

The creatures were walking on the wall, forward and backward. Again and again. They were walking like angry prisoners. They stopped and began to scream now. They had no mouth, the screamings were coming inside of them. It was loudly. They were looking to air time by time and screaming loudly. Their sound was similar to Orb and the others. it is the same as the watcher while they're dying. The roots were mimicking the watchers' last screams.

"These creatures are completely blind and deaf..." Orb told in a worried mood. "They do not have any sense, they don't realize us. Our attacks are futile too. They are invincible."

The thing is his worry was not their senses or their strong bodies. Orb was a new being for Exelnia, he stormed everywhere in Arbhed, he killed thousands of people. These creatures should attack him but they were completely oblivious to him.

"Isn't that a good thing for us?" Naruj asked.

"I don't know. We can relax and make a better plan, they won't attack us. This's good." All Exelnians on the battlefield took a deep breath. "But we should analyze them in detail. Why did they try to attack Barvim first? And why did they changed their mind and went there? The town even also is in the opposite direction, why are they looking to the solitary mountain?"

Orb realized the reason and shouted "Do not use any ability! These things are after ability users!"

"You told us they were completely senseless?" Naruj asked.

"I was wrong. They can feel non-humanly powers"

"Then, why the ability users? you said they're invincible against the abilities?"

"I didn't tell ability users. If so, they should finish Barvim guy. They changed their target as soon as he canceled his ability. They are not after the users, they're after the source."

"What do you mean by source?" Heytu asked this time.

"White, gray, and black souls can only use abilities, they do not produce them. Red souls are different. They are the source of the abilities."

"What? There is another red soul here?" Barvim got panicked.

"Yes"

"On the mountain?" Heytu asked by observing the Roots movement.

"No, it's me..."

All of them got shocked. Orb classed souls white, grey, black, and red before. Due to his reactions, red souls were the most dangerous type. The disastrous types were the red souls. They were fighting against them for the last ten minutes. They were not human even. His aim was killing red souls but he confessed now that he's one of them.

"Are you one of them too?" Heytu asked. He and Yjum handled their Swords tightly.

"Not completely but my existence is not our priority now. We should kill them first." Orb looked at Arbhenians. He should explain more due to their reactions. "There's a system of their operations. Some types of Root deal out the abilities to humans, they are the leader types. The others are applying energy to ability users regularly. Their only mission is being a battery for ability users. They're underling of the leaders. Our current opponents are the second type, the battery of your abilities. They've been implanted under your Province's amphitheater many years before. They were supplying energy to your folk for their abilities and they need something to do their missions " He took a breath for a second. "These two were feeding by savagery in the amphitheater to produce energy for you. Your rule makers were offering the souls of your folk here for these creatures."

"So Oblekh and other staffs were the behind these?" Heytu asked.

"I don't think your rapist fatty had the capability to do that. Vice Commander was the mastermind in Arbhen operation of this dark creation probably. He was manipulating Aghnas but he did not do the same thing to Oblekh. Your derlem was greedy from the beginning."

"Sepnus was feeding these Roots, you say?"

Orb approved by his head and continued. "These roots were collecting those souls, producing energy, and sharing it with your ability user citizens. This operations aura in your amphitheater was too heavy for humans. The watchers were getting crazy by this madness except for the white souls. They were probably leaving here in their first experience and did not attend again. Gray and black souls were getting darker and darker. They were addicted to this. These watchers, your rule makers, and these creatures made up this system in your amphitheater."

"And we were assisting them too" Heytu was looking to the ground.

"You got blinded by the manipulators," Orb answered and continued "I cut the soul supplying system of these Roots by ability today. I sent the souls of thousands of people to another location. Their total number was near the population of the Province. That's why Roots became insane and appeared in public now. They wanted to destroy the perpetrator."

"But they did not attack you?" Phazor asked

"Yes, it's an irregularity. They should be after me before targeting Barvim's ability"

"So you say Barvim's existence may be more important than you for them?" Zabarn asked. He was concerned for his friend.

"No, I have another theory. My soul color is black generally but it becomes red when I activate my ability. I tried to measure the intensity of earthquakes. They're rough when my ability was active. They got slow when I canceled it and started to get toughening again when your friend activated his ability. They lost my trace when I canceled it. That's why they went after his ability. They tried to locate me around that ability. Basically, they're only after the red soul."

"Then why are there now, is there a red soul in the mountain?" Heytu asked again.

"I don't know but there's a strong presence somewhere on the mountain now. I feel it but it's far away so it's tiny to locate certainly. They are not sure too. They are trying to understand on there"

"What're we doing now then?"

"We should lure them here again. Stay away from the center now. I'll activate my and they will directly come to me if I was right. Do not use any ability, I warn you again. We did not see their real power yet."

"Why ?" Phazor asked.

"You realized their scream sound I think. These voices belonged to the watchers. They were trying to lure their killer. That's why they were mimicking the victims' sound. They're trying to set-up me."

"You'll become a red soul again, you say. Should we worry about ourselves when you activate it?" Yjum asked.

"The white cover is not only a protective shell. It's maximizing the user's power and feelings. If you have hatred, it's maximizing it. That's why my soul color's staining red when I activate it. In a plain term; increase your strength but give your soul to your feelings. I'm black now."

"So what?"

"Yes. Be on guard against me too. I can control myself mostly but I can lose it if I injured heavily when is active."

The speeches of Orb were understandable for them except for his last sentence. That's enough for them. He killed thousands of people when he's in mode. He's a danger for their humanity due to his own explaining. They'll kill him definitely when they finished their job with the creatures. They did not tell anything to each other but they all thought the same thing. They missed one thing again.

Orb saw a changing of color in their soul. He was aware of their plans but his targets were the roots only. "Now, go!" He declared.

Orb went to the center of the amphitheater.

The others went to the edge of the area. They gave the ready signal to Orb.

Orb activated his .

It happened within two seconds. The roots reached around Orb. They beamed.

The others even couldn't saw them. They understood reality. The real battle has begun now.

...On the mountain...

"Hah, they disappeared!" Galath was hiding in the back of a tree. She did not sure it'll work but she was feared. She hopes the new guest of Exelnia (Orb) would kill creatures. If he won't, it'll not be good for her. They'll come after her. She felt it. She should leave there. But she wanted to see the result too. She made a gamble on her life. She chose to stay and observe.
