"What do you think, My Eftandes?" Yjum asked.
"Ghril..." Nerei was looking to the floor. His death was heavy for her.
One day has passed since the communication with Golden Mantelets headquarters. Kobne told them to wait for one to two days for General Yahma's arrival.
Corvan Brawan's situation was getting worse. His skin color was getting pale.
They were waiting in the same room.
Heytu left the building for hunting. They were hungry.
They tried the mind-link channel with Heytu. They easily communicated by it. They understood that the success of it is related to a distance value.
Kobne's situation did not change too. He was waiting near his fainted leader.
Nerei and Yjum were on the other corner of the room. They all were sitting on the floor. There weren't any objects in the room. This building was completely spare.
"He was the first one...to fall to our enemies' trap." Yjum replied.
"No, not that. He came to help me. He saved me from the sharp edges of the swords. And he died..."
"Do not blame yourself, my beloved Ysueri-efta. He oathed to finish Jom's terror many years ago...He was living in danger before that too."
"This is not about only Ghril, Yjum. More than 5000 people would be alive if I did not escape. I'm the reason for this nightmare."
"And we're the reason for Jom Mekrapia's compromising. We learned many things, many terrible things within the last four weeks. We should finish this, Ysueri-efta. We'll finish this. We'll present a good future to Jom folks, they deserve better. Not the scums who died in Arbhen!"
Heytu returned. He was holding some small animals. They ate them after cooking...
"He'll be here within few hours. We should be on alert," Kobne said. "One of us should scout on the terrace. Someone may follow General Yahma."
"I saw nobody on the hunting." Heytu said.
"Precaution is important for our position." Kobne insisted.
"I'll do it" Yjum left.
Others continued to wait silently.
Yjum returned after two hours.
"Hey, look this. I found some plants on the terrace. They might help him" she implied Corvan Brawan.
"How did you find these on a place like there?" Kobne asked.
"I do not know too, give it a try"
"Wait for a little time too. We'll use these if his situation got worse"
"Ok." She left plants and returned to the roof. And she returned hastily after half an hour.
"Guys something is coming!"
"Something?" Heytu asked.
"I could only saw dustcloud. The speed of movement is similar to drov. But it's big. Your friend is not alone!" Yjum looked to Kobne.
"God!" Nerei reacted.
They all stood up.
"You stay with my Leader. I'll try to talk to them. I assume that General Yahma is coming with some of our soldiers. I need to understand their intentions first."
"What if..." Nerei began to ask but Kobne replied hastily.
"Save him, please..." Kobne implied that he will sacrifice himself.
"Nerei, go with him. We'll wait here. Warn us by mind-link if something occurs."
Kobne and Nerei went outside of the building and started to wait. Four people came on their drovs. They rode their drovs near Kobne and Nerei. All of them were wearing golden-colored armor. General Yahma was on the front. He seems like a very powerful commander in his official armor.
Nerei shared her opinion about this man with Kobne before. She regretted it now. This man's length was 185 cm and his height's 80 kg. His body's fit and muscular. He's bald, has brown eyes. He has a shield on his back and a big sword on his sheath. He was definitely strong.
Others were wearing golden masks on their faces. Masks' shapes were very similar to human faces. There was only one difference. There were no mouth shapes on them.
"Welcome General Yahma."
"Thanks, my friend. How is the condition of Corvan?"
"Not good but he's still alive." Kobne looked at other members. "Before that..."
Yahma understood and quickly replied. "I'm sorry, I should share this with our family."
Kobne looked to others again. "It seems
"Yes, she's on something, why?"
"Corvan's skin-color is changing. She would be useful."
"Yes but I'm here" One of the drov-riders talked. "I'm a skilled infirmarian, sir?"
Kobne put a warm smile on his lips. "Thank you. I know that my security protocol insulted you but you know the situation."
"We'll crush Unue Province if they try to do something." Another guest talked. All of them came off their drovs and started to walk to Kobne and Nerei.
"I'm not sure of it." Kobne replied.
"Relax, my friend. Let's look at Corvan's state first." General Yahma told when he was near five steps from Kobne...
"STOP THERE! YOU FALLEN GENERAL!" A new sound has been heard. They all looked in that direction.
Kobne was the first one who reacted. "Lizard! You are alive."
"Yes, my friend. I am not sure you are happy for this by your reaction" He grinned. "Stay away that traitor. He was not here to help!"
"What are you talking about, you scum!" Yahma was angry.
"Whoa, you lost your wise aura rapidly. Do you think you were the only one who got spies in the organization! Kobne, get inside." Many soldiers appeared between the trees. "We will handle them."
"You think a hundred soldiers enough to stop us?" Yahma grinned too.
Lizars started to walk toward to Yahma. "I think you imply the Unue and Avbu troops which were hiding inside of the forest? We killed them while coming here."
"Impossible! There were more than five hundred soldiers!"
"That's why, you can not replace with our true leader, Corvan Brawan! You are only a moron. You tried to hide a big troop like that in the forest. Yes, it was hard to handle, we lost many soldiers too. But we made an ambush, so we were at advantage. And you will pay for your sin now! My brothers died because of your treachery..." He unsheathed his sword. "Hey, Kobne. Take our leader and go to the roof. Reinforcement will come."
"NEVER!" Yahma shouted and attacked Kobne and Nerei.
Yahma retreated quickly. He looked back. There was another Lizard on the ground. It was only his skin.
This was new for Kobne too. Identities and abilities were not exposed inside of the Golden Mantelets organization too. Only Corvan had the knowledge of everything. Lizard's identity is not a secret for them but they never saw his ability until now. Kobne understood it now. Lizard saved himself from Prince Garbohan's assault by his ability.
"Why do you think our leader gave this title to me?" He grinned again. "GO NOW!"
