Lizard shouted at him a few times too. It was useless.

He sheathed his weapon and went after Corvan.

He did not accept it with their hearts. Kobne was fighting against many enemies but they left him alone. He respected his choice and left but he lost his faith in Corvan Brawan. They all put their lives on the line to save their leader but he left one of them easily like this. Both of them rode their drovs far away.

Battle was going ahead between Kobne and General Yahma in the dust clouds. All enemies and Kobne were stuck in this ability. Some of Golden Mantelets members tried to stop the clouds but got pierced to the pieces terribly.

Kobne was losing his battle against General Yahma. He got many injuries from his sword and couldn't give any damage to him. General Yahma was applying his ability on himself when Kobne was attacking him. All of Kobne's attacks were missing their target. Other enemies surrounded Kobne too.

"What a power!" One of the enemies looked at the dust clouds on the ground. "You did not use this power to help us ever? This is a betrayal itself, Kobne!"

Kobne attacked and killed a few members too.

An enemy threw his lance on him and it got stabbed on Kobne's left shoulder. "It seems we should kill him quickly to exit from here. He won't release us by talking."

"You're right." General Yahma approved him. He got in Divine mode again, came to near Kobne, and cut him on his legs.

Kobne fell on his knees. They did not get dismembered but the cutting was deep. Kobne sat down on the ground. His sword fell to the ground too.

"You could be very useful for us with your ability. It's a shame Kobne. This is your last choice. Expel your hidden ability and I'll let you go. I only want Corvan!"

Kobne smiled to General Yahma "Not a chance, you fake leader. You should kill me if you want to be free."

"Rest in peace, then!" General Yahma told.

Corvan was beheaded by Yahma's sword.

All soldiers had saluted Kobne's corpse. They were all Golden Mantelets' members and Kobne was their companion too. Even they were enemies for a specific time. They showed their respect to him. They did it and started to wait for being free.

Something was not right. Kobne died ten seconds ago but his ability did not get lost. The dust clouds were still active. It's piercing the ground and everything around them.

"What the fuck is this, didn't he die!?" One of the soldiers told. He did not like the situation.

There was an explosion in their back. They looked in that direction. There was another explosion from the other direction. A third one appeared. Some of the ambushers died from the explosions.

"We've been trapped here for dying! What kind of ability is this. Damn you Kobne.!" They all started to apply their abilities and attacks to the dust clouds again. They all were useless. They started to attack with their weapons again and it did not work too. Explosions were increasing.

"God, do something Yahma!" A soldier shouted.

General Yahma applied his ability on them and on himself. Their bodies were shining again. They tried to pass the inside of the dust clouds. It did not work. The soldiers' bodies got dismembered into many pieces. Divine mode did not be helpful.

"What the hell!" Another one shouted again and he started to stab Kobne's corpse. "Help me, let's rend his body to the end, it may help!" The remaining soldiers were out of control. They stabbed Kobne's heart and other organs repeatedly. It was useless.

General Yahma was activating his repeatedly to protect himself from the explosions but... Inside of the dust clouds was full of explosions now. Everybody died except General Yahma but he got heavily damaged. This ability was not expelling itself until the deaths of everybody in it.

General Yahma died by explosions too... His body got crisped by the flames.

Kobne's ability is one of the strongest defensive abilities in Exelnia. It kills everything when activated. The first step's imprisoning everybody around the ability user. It protects its owner. The ability user can cancel it but Kobne was not enough strong to do that. The second step was blasting everything inside it. It was a self-destruction suicide mechanism. It kills everybody in it if the ability user dies.

The expert told this second specialty of ability to Kobne and Chafalir many years ago. This was the reason Kobne's joining to Golden Mantelets. He did not want to return to his own village. He did not want to harm citizens. Golden Mantelets was a military-based formation. Members of It accepted death from the beginning. Kobne chose this way. He told every detail of his ability to Corvan while he was attending to join.

This was the reason for Corvan's departure from the battlefield too. He knew this second step. He could try to save Kobne but he knew it'd be useless.

Corvan checked also the details for ability many years ago. He did not tell to Kobne. He wanted to help his companion. He found the same expert and that man told him the same things. . Corvan knew that there was no choice. He did not want to lose Lizard too. They were riding their droves, they were far away from the battlefield. But they heard the explosions.

"What the fuck was that!?" Lizard looked back.

"Kobne's ability. He died. It kills everything if the owner dies." Corvan wasn't looking to Lizard. He was the leader and he couldn't save his companion... Kobne was not only his companion, his best friend too. Corvan knew that it was beyond his capability but he still was ashamed. He accepted this result when he accepted Kobne to his organization. He accepted to live this pain many years ago.

Lizard looked at Corvan. He understood the reality. Their leader did not want to leave Kobne behind. But these explosions were terrible. They were like the explosion of a big mountain. They would die if they stay there, it was clear. Corvan did not leave Kobne, he saved Lizard. He couldn't save both of them.

Corvan sacrificed his best friend to save him. Activating that Godly ability was Kobne's choice. He sacrificed himself to save them also...
