“Don’t worry kids listen to your mom, everything will be alright,” Peter said slowly as he looked at the big blue tear filled eyes of the kids. 


Tears rolled down the cheeks of the mother and she wiped them quickly. “Thank you.” Peter looked at her and felt bad because she reminded him of his loving mother back home. “It will be alright. You have my word.” He then focused on Jake on his right who was shaking drastically. “Don’t worry bro am here and nothing will happen to you while am here.” 


“What do you mean? These crazy men are killing us and you say nothing will happen to me,” Jake said quickly in a mild tone. 


“Do you trust me?” Peter asked as he looked at his friend in the eyes confidently and without fear. 


“Then believe me,” Peter said and he fixed his focus on the two gun men still arguing heavily.
