The ghost that does not rest

“Where’s Raymond?” Van asked to Tim.

Van have not seen Raymond early in the morning. It’s nothing he should worry of, but he couldn’t help to be curious what reason he’s not replying his text. Tim quickly stole the juice Van had when he was distracted by sunlight. Van glanced at the wall clock and saw that he still has 5 minutes before his next class begins.

“He said that he has urgent to do today. Family’s business. Anyway. I did not meddle on their mess, so, I keep my nose where it’s supposed to be…”

“Ok.”

Tim knew that there’s something more of Van to say. He’s just waiting for him to cast the words right out of his mouth.

“So, tonight. I think I’m gonna be late.”

“You have a practice.”

“Not actually. With Kate.”

“Oh. Ok. You’ve been going a lot these days. Where have you been taking her? I hope it’s not somewhere shabby. I would be embarrassed as your brother.”

“Uh, no. Actually, we often hang out in mall.”
