____Julie____
Jayden and I had a short conversation when Simon arrived and he looked serious.Simon looked at me and sighed. His eyes showed a lot of tiredness and sadness so I quickly approached him and hugged him tightly.
"It's going to be alright, Simon. We got each other, right?" I felt him nod while he embraced me.
"Are you sure you will stop your medications?" I broke away from Simon's embrace and looked at Jayden with mixed surprise.
When I saw this serious and sultry looking at Simon, my gaze shifted to the two of them. "Stop your medications? What does this mean, Simon?" The man just scratched his neck and grinned at me.
"Julie, I rather not be overdosed." He laughed. I found where did they found what I said funny. "Overdose? You won't get an overdose unless-- oh, sh*t."realization dawned at me and I immediately look at them and a smile flashed on Simon's lips and this time, I saw the real happiness in his eyes. Happiness for himself.
"Are you saying that you're not ill anymore?" Jayden's face also showed his joy and I know that he's just retraining himself to hug Simon.
I don't know much about them but I'm sure that he's the ecstatic among us right now.
He spends so much time being with Simon and I know it has been lonely for him having only one person to talk to especially when Simon can only hear him that time before I met them.
"I guess we should all celebrate this--"
"W-wait, Jayden."Jayden and I both looked at Simon as he looked around.
"The truth is, I can be ill anytime if I will not maintain my medications - I mean a few of my medications. And the thing here is, those two grown-ups inside must not know about this. I trust that these words I'm telling you will not come out unless we're being watched right now.” he said seriously and the three of us exchanged glances until we heard Jayden laugh.
"Glad to tell that if any of your words will come out, I am seriously not the one who spilled that."then goes his laughter again. "For the first time, I finally hear you making jokes about yourself." The three of us exchanged glances again and laughed at the same time.
"Do you have something to do later, Simon?" I asked him so he was silent for a moment and smiled. "I don't think there is anything until grandma has summoned all the boards to prepare for our meeting on the division of shares."
"Speaking of, we will come over to my grandma's house tomorrow, you should wear something sophisticated, Julie. My grandma doesn't like those tacky clothes." and I heard Jayden laugh out loud. "Tacky? Really?! That’s what the both of you thought of my dress?" I shouted and raised an eyebrow at them.
"What do you mean ‘both of you’? It's just Simon!" Jayden shouted as he pointed his finger at Simon with a wide smile. "Why are you laughing? What do you think of me, huh?" Jayden's dog-like smile gradually faded. I raised an eyebrow at him but he did not answer my question.
"We should get inside, guys, we are already baiting ourselves as mosquito’s food here." he led the way until Simon and I lost sight of him. "What’s his problem?" Simon just shrugged and smiled again. "He's unusually lively now, don't you think?" I quickly nodded at what Simon said and turned to Jayden again waving from the inside and motioning for us to follow him.
Yeah, he is actually looking better now.
"AHH!" I shouted when I suddenly felt my head ached. "Julie!" Simon shouted as I knelt down and clung to his wheelchair.
I seemed deaf due to the strength of my heartbeat and to the high-pitched sound I could hear.
"Julie? What's the matter? Julie!"
"The person who will bring back all the cavalry we have suffered will live, my child. He will kill the child of the one who tormented us! I swear he will see the end of all. And this will be the payment for their sin!"the lady held her stomach as blood continued to flow from her thigh down to her feet.
Devoree is sitting in the rusty chair while holding the paper containing her last message because she already felt that she will not last long. Julie found herself staring at the pitiful condition of the woman. Devoree’s red hair was wet and her palms were clenched as she stared at the bright moon.
"W-what's going on?" Julie asked, wanting to get rid of that bad dream but she felt the spontaneous movement of her hand holding a knife.
She then found herself inside the old mansion and now she was facing a cold human corpse, it was dark all around so she could not see who was in front of her so she quickly ran out.
Julie ran and ran until she reached the garden of the mansion. She looked around when she saw Jayden stood frozen. "J-Jayden ..."
"Why? Of all the people who will do this, why does it have to be you?" They were both soaking wet because of the rain and Julie's feeling so cold, she hugged herself but she noticed something strange. She passed Jayden and entered the mansion again, she passed the human corpse and was shocked to see Simon's wide-opened eyes. Julie ran to the second floor of the mansion and entered the first room she passed and there realized everything.
Julie knew she was not the person in that dream.
But Eula.
Julie was disturbed by her dream all night. She is worried about what will happen next, in the days to come because it is not unusual for her to feel the danger coming.
"Are you sure you take enough rest?" Julie nodded quickly to Simon's question and smiled at him as an old woman arrived. "Welcome home, Simon!"said the old woman with the white hair. If you look at her more genuinely, Simon must got his pale and thin lips to his grandmother. And his grandmother also has a good posture that you can mistaken her as an actress who played a role of a queen.
"You are my grandson's lady, right?" she turned her attention to Julie and held her hand.
"Uhm, yeah, I am."
"Tsk." Julie heard Jayden sulking behind them because it was him who insisted that they should not go to Simon's grandmother's house Julie is not yet feeling well.
"Thank you for keeping an eye on my Simon, and your name is?"
"Julie, ma'am." the old man's smile widened when she heard the woman's name. Julie noticed something strange about the old woman but she knew that this is not relevant to any harm.
"Shall we come inside?" Simon’s grandmother asked them. Julie followed her look and there she confirmed the idea. She seemed to know that they were with someone else because she followed them after Jayden passed her. Julie approached Simon as she took his hand and signaled him to come closer.
"What's the matter?" she whispered. Simon looked around and saw that they were ahead of the others. "I thought of a plan."Simon also whispered to her.

"They both looked so well." I told the maid beside me. She looked at me with utmost respect and nodded as an agreement.
I glanced at the lady beside Simon.
Julie is a nice girl based on my first impressions. When I held her hands earlier, her hands were not soft, but I'm sure she is industrious. I'm not sure but there's a feeling that she came from a wealthy family. Or used to be.
I looked back at my grandson who seems to be enjoying talking to his 'pretend-to-be-girlfriend'.
Of course, I know when he is lying. He is such a transparent boy and it is easy to read when his eyes couldn't look at me when I talked to Julie. He always does things on his own but I will eventually know where it will go. I have many children and all of them did not go the path I wanted them to walk onto. I know that things will not come the way I want. I blamed myself because me, Simon did not receive any love from his father.
But I know that Simon will not turn out like any of my children. My only hope was Simon, he is the only one I can trust with my life. But fate makes it hard.
Fate wants to take him from me. He wants my boy to suffer and not wanting me to help. I looked at my side and saw this guy walking behind those two ever since they came here. I realized the same old story my mother and grandma told me. The story of how things will end between the woman who cursed this man, and the man who will see this curse as an eternal life.
"Care to tell me why are you here? And why now, Jayden?"
I see how shocked he was when I said his name. He looked at me then to his both sides before looking directly onto my eyes. Of course, he has the right to be shocked.
Then I know where this should be going. So I told him.
"Care to listen to my story?"
