‘Where are we going?’ Hail asked Ging.

‘Main Street it should be quiet now.’

‘Can we just hurry up and get this done I’m knackered.’

‘Once we’re done you can go back and have your beauty sleep.’

‘Thanks.’ Laila said yawning.

They all walked down to Main Street, a long stretch of road used for racing. It was nearly midnight and Main Street was decelet no one around for miles but them.

Ging set up the DVD – Corder.

‘You know what you’re doing?’

‘Yeah.’

‘Good places people’

Ging pressed record.

Scene 4

Laila ran passed looking behind her.

Ging followed her with the camera.

Scene 4

Hail not too far behind. Hail grabbed her pulling her to the rough concreted road.

He turned her over her face all blooded.

Laila screamed trying to get away from him. Hail dragged her back slashing her frantically.

Laila screamed pacing her hands in front of her face, those to he slashed frantically.

Hail pulled her arms away leaning over her bringing the knife down. Laila screamed looking at his glazed angered eyes.

Hail lowered the knife closer to her throat.

Ging pressed the stop button on the DVD-Corder and ran over pulling Hail off Laila.

‘That aint part of the script.’ Ging screamed at Hail.

Hail looked at Ging his eyes glazed.

‘Bro.’

Nothing.

Ging looked at Laila. ‘You okay?’

‘Yeah’. She answered still shaking.

‘Come on we better get back I think we’ve all had enough for one night.

Ging took Laila’s hand pulling her to her feet.

Ging, Hail and Laila walked down the street in silence.

Ging closed the door behind them. Hail looked at Ging, his eyes normal, un-glazed.

‘What happened? Why am I here?’ Hail asked confused the last he remembered they were shooting a scene down Main Street so why were they back at the flat?’

‘We called it a night.’

‘Why?’

‘You want to know why?’

‘Yeah.’

‘What the hell did you think you were doing out there?’

Acting like you told me too.’

‘Call that acting?! You nearly killed her.’

‘No I didn’t.’

‘Yes you did, I had to pull you off her.’

‘I didn’t.’

‘Yes you did! You were supposed to slash the her, but in no scene did I say kill her!’

Hail looked over at Laila who was still shaking.

He went to hug her.

‘Don’t just don’t. I’m going to bed, and don’t even think about joining me!’

‘Sure.’

Laila walked away going over to the bed lying under the covers still shaking, closing her eyes cautiously.

‘You’ve upset her big time.’

‘I don’t know what to say.’

‘Nothing. Just get your act together, or we’ll never get this movie finished. You can sleep chair and think very carefully about everything that happened. And making sure that it will never happen again.’

‘Sure.’ Hail said slumping down on the chair.

Hail glided his hand down Laila’s face. She gradually woke, jumping.

‘Chill Laila it’s me.’

‘What do you want Hail?’

‘To say sorry.’

‘What for? Trying to kill me?’

‘I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.’

‘The movie has gone to your head that what got into you.’

‘May I?’

‘If you must.’

Laila pulled herself up crossing her legs.

‘Look I don’t know what came over me last night. I’d never hurt you.’

‘After last night I’m not so sure. I thought Ging was psycho now I’m not so sure.’

Hail placed his hand on her face, she cringed.

‘I’m sorry I promise it won’t happen again.’

‘What if it does?’

‘It won’t. We’ve got to get this movie over and done with so we can go back to normal.

‘What’s normal?’

‘Me and you being happy together.’

‘I don’t know Hail. I don’t know if I can finish the movie after seeing how you were last night.’

‘It won’t happen again.’

Hail leaned forward placing his lips on Laila’s kissing her she returned his kiss nervously.

‘So you sorted things out then?’

‘Yeah.’

‘Good we can finally finish this damn script.’

‘So there won’t be any more after this?’

‘No.’

‘Good we can go back to reality.’

‘As long as there are no more out bursts like last night.’

‘There won’t be.’

‘Good.’

‘So where are we shooting tonight?’

‘The field. I’ll need help setting up ‘

‘Sure. What are we doing?’

‘A little re-in-act- ment. You can help me get the Crucifix up.’

‘You’re not asking me to re-live the stage act?’

‘Didn’t you read the script?’

‘Sort of.’

‘Then you’ll know the last scene is Laila on the crucifix. Now don’t screw it up, and no more of your moments again.’

‘I won’t.’

‘Good.’

Ging, Hail, and Laila went up to the field. Laila sat on the grass watching while they set up the crucifix in its exact right spot.

‘Right Laila we’re ready for you.’

Laila walked over to Hail and Ging looking at the six foot crucifix, swallowing.

Hail took her hand leading her up the stairs, she turned. Hail strapped her to the crucifix.

Hail took the steps from under her feet after strapping her ankles to the crucifix.

Hail took the steps away and over to Ging who was setting up the DVD- Corder.

‘Now don’t screw this up we don’t her ending up in the caves like the others.

Okay.’

Hail looked over at Laila. Walking towards her.

‘You okay babe?’

‘Yeah.’

‘Don’t be nervous just think of getting out of here.’

Hail leaned forward placing his lips on hers kissing her.

He moved away and smiled, winking at her.

‘Everything’s going to be a - okay.’

‘Come on Hail stop groping her and get in position.’

‘Sure.’

Hail looked at Laila smiling at her.

She didn’t return his smile.
