Rocky turned over and hit the alarm clock and pulled her covers back. Hearing a knock on the door she heard her mother say."Rise and shine. Don't want to be late. As they say the first impression of you counts most."

Rocky got up and almost smiled but instead walked to the closet. Grabbing one of her duffel bags she threw it on the bed , then placed her hands on her hips. Patting herself on the back she was glad her grandmother sent her mirror set.

Sitting down looking in the mirror she smiled and started to go through her makeup bag, as she begin to apply it. Satisfied at the outcome she then opened her Gucci duffle bag and found her black jogging fit. Putting on her white Jordans she made her way to the bathroom.

Nina walked out her room and looked Rocky up and down."You do know we have a dress code right?" Nina said."Forget the dress code Nina besides who said I was staying all day? I'm new I get a free pass duh." Rocky said finishing up.

Inside the car sitting outside the school Rocky looked straight ahead."Roxie promise me you'll be on your best behavior." Rocky looked over at her mom."I don't make promises I can't keep." She said and opened the door.

Standing in the office at the desk her mother talked to the assistant at the computer. As they sat down Rocky waited for her to print out her class schedule."Roxie Garcia." The lady said holding her papers and schedule."Welcome to brook-haven academy it'll be nice to have you."

Her mother hugged her and left for work. Standing in the middle of the hallway she looked at her schedule. As she began to walk she heard whistling.

Turning back she saw Chad."Let me guess your lost?" He joked and grabbed her schedule out her hands. Chad paused and looked Rocky up and down."Your out of dress code young lady."

Rocky rolled her eyes."You sound almost like the principal. Why don't you just show me my classes already I got somewhere to be."

"Bad girl." Chad laughed and showed her each class. After she finally got rid of Chad she grabbed her cellphone out her purse and called her best friend Jazelle."Where are you chicka?" Rocky asked.

"I'm parked in the back you sure about this?" She asked questioning her friend."Come on Jay you know me better than anybody." Hanging up the phone Rocky made her way towards the back.

Spotting her friend she ran to the car and jumped in. Turning the music down Jazelle looked at her and smiled.

Sitting outside of Jose complex Jazelle paused and smirked."Rocky you do know we can go somewhere other than Jose place. Besides he might be at work."

"Jay stop being silly remember I know his whole schedule he off today. One question why are you so jumpy are you hiding something from me?" Rocky asked annoyed. "No." Jazelle said looking at Rocky.

"Well I guess I'll find out for myself then right?" Getting out the car Rocky sped walked to Jose building. Leaving Jazelle behind she quickly made it to the building.

Knocking on his door she stood there with her hands on her hips. Moments later Jose finally came to the door."You don't look so happy to see me." Rocky said pushing pass him."Roxie?"

"Oh so I'm Roxie now?" Standing there with her arms folded she looked to the right to see some chick standing there in one of his football jerseys."Did I interrupt you baby?" The girl asked.

Just as Rocky was about to speak Jazelle busted through the house."Dammit." She said as they all stood there.

Standing outside Rocky was stunned as she looked at Jazelle."You knew about this?" "No Rocky I didn't." Rocky then smiled and started walking towards the car."Just take me home."

Before they drove off Jose came running out towards them. Behind him she saw the girl he was cheating with."Can we talk?" Jose pleaded. Rocky got out the car furious.

"Let you what? There is nothing to talk about this relationship is over!" Rocky yelled. "Let her ass go you don't need something like that when you can have something like this."

Rocky blacked out and ran up on her and they started tussling. Jazelle broke it up and walked them back towards the car. Inside the car nobody said a word.

Once she was home she hurried to her room and fell on the bed. Crying her eyes out she heard the front door slam close. She heard Kyle and a female voice.

Shaking her head she had enough for the day. The next day came and Rocky wasn't in the mood for it. Wearing her uniform she shrugged her shoulders and got on with it.

Her first two classes were a breeze but third period was not her best period. Sitting in math class she noticed both Bianca and Morgan. They looked at her whispering and giggling.

Rocky just sat there unfazed at them. Trying to listen to the teacher Chad walked inside the classroom."Nice of you to finally join us Mr.Griffin."

"My pleasure." He said as the class laughed. Chad then walked pass Bianca and sat next to Rocky. "Okay class we have a new student joining us please welcome Roxie Garcia." Some people looked and some kept doing whatever. "Who cares?" Bianca said."Don't start Bianca lets continue with the lesson now."

"So how's your first day going?" Chad asked smiling."Aren't you supposed to be up there sitting with your girlfriend?" Rocky asked. "I'm sitting with you and I asked you a question."

"It's okay." Rocky said trying to pay attention. Once class was over Rocky walked out to a crowd."Boyfriend stealing ass bitch listen up. I've already warned you once about Chad please don't make this hard on yourself."

"Listen Bianca nobody cares about your little boyfriend okay. Now step aside I have important things to do." Rocky walked off and continues to the cafeteria.

Standing in line for lunch some girl walked up to her. "I like what I saw back there. Bianca is a snob and somebody got to knock her off that high horse." "So why hasn't she already?" Rocky asked looking at the girl before her.

"People are afraid of her." The girl said seriously. "Rocky not afraid of no one. She's not that scary." "So you say by the way my name is Laurie yours?" "Roxie and nice to meet you Laurie."

Once she got her tray and sat down Laurie was right behind her."We should be friends." "Sure." Rocky said and ate a little bit. Laurie wanted to talk but Rocky was still upset about Jose. So she let Laurie do most of the talking.

As she got done Chad sat down next to Rocky."Hey Laurie." He spoke. Laurie looked happy that he knew her name while Rocky just sat there unimpressed.

"Here comes trouble." Laurie said as she watched the girls walk towards them. All of a sudden Rocky felt milk going all over her.

Chad jumped up and moved Rocky stood up as well. Grabbing her tray Rocky hit Bianca in the head with it. They were both suspended that was great news to Rocky as she left early.
