AN: ** means someone's signing.

Suddenly, a woman could be seen running from the other side of the road in an unbelievable speed, and she grabs the child and leaps into the air, the drifting car narrowly missing the both of them. She lands in a crouch on Darcelle’s end of the street, holding the child tightly in her arms.

“Sophia!” A vice yells out, and a woman with a toddler strapped to her chest runs over to them. “Sophia! Dear gods! Are you okay?!”

The brave woman sets the child on her feet, her box braided hair falling like a halo around her.

The mother of the child gets down on her knees and looks at her daughter frantically for any signs of injuries or bruises. She starts talking to the child in what sounds like Old Mandarin and the child is replying back fluently. With the expression on her face, her mother is most possibly scolding her.

Once the braided woman stands up, Darcelle, and everybody else, gets a full view of her.
