A new month had come. Thanks to Ashs wolfform, he didn't have nightmares this time and Ash went to school like usually. He wasn't tired or nervous.
His teacher Mr Blackstone, who was a high level hunter, tried to teach him the weaknesses of some low level monsters. While Mr Blackstone talked about the Fireslime, which was like a normal slime but the only differece was, that a fireslime was barely immune against firemagic, Ash thought about the last month. He didn't ceep his wolfform up, since the nightmares came only at night. There was no need for his comfortable form while the teachers spoke. Even if Ash had flashbacks, the voices of his teachers always brought him back to reality. Some other students weren't as happy as Ash was after they had their first Hand to Hand combat training. Noone had expected that Ash already knew some material arts and because of that, Ash ended up at the top of his class. After a week, where the teacher noticed that Ash was always at the top, some nobels felt aready offended. They tried to use their parents connecton to trouble Ashs family, but most likely Ash himself limited his actions. Not because of his family, they even wanted him to do more, Ash simply remembered his own goal. He didn't want to be at the top as it meant that more people were watching his action. Because of that, Ash decided to take cover, he hid behind his classmates and used them to remain hidden. But his teachers knew what he was doing and why he did it. But they couldn't watch their best student hide his talent and started to let him take his marks separated from his class. Since the teacher had decided it, the pricipal, who infact was a noble himself, brought the idea up to even teach Ash separated from his class. The pricipal had been excited to see Ashs improvement and Ash had accepted the offer. Since then, Ash had his own schedule. Mr Blackstone looked at Ash while he wondered what Ash thought about. Only a few seconds passed, then Ashs eyes lit up and didn't let go of his teacher.
First when Mr Blackstone had his first lesson alone whit Ash, he felt shiveres runing down his spine, but that changed very quickly. Ash wasn't the silent student with a empty space in his head. Mr Blackstone often discussed what was the best tactic to kill monsters or raid a dungeon. Today was no difference. Ash and Mr Blackstone discussed how a lowlevel team could enter a dungeon and kill the first floorboss. However, to others it would sound like a dungeons and dragons, but they used the information the adventurers guild had collected about different Boss/monsters. Sometimes they even trained Ashs and Mr Blackstones analysis skills. One of them gave informations about a imagined monster and cept its abilitis secret and only showed them when the monster needed.
"We will attack the ankles of the hybride. His armor should be weak there and because his weakness is fire, it should do some critical damage." Mr Blackstone said. Ash, who predicted that, reacted with the fireresistance he had prepared. Like this, the hunting lessons went on.
His Mannor teacher was no difference. He brought some food with him and Ash helped him to reduce its number while they were small talking. Sometimes his teacher put him in situation were a usual person would curse, but Ash always cept his face.
Ashs Weaponised combat teacher, a woman called Angelic Harbour, didn't show any mercy towards him. When they fought, even if he let his guard down for one moment, he had a foot in his stomach. Mrs Harbour believed in learning from the own failure, or sometimes she just wanted to hit Ash. However, Ash wasn't angry at her by doing such things. He knew that it would help him to improve in the future and even if it wouldn't, Ash didn't mind it.
One time, when Mrs Harbour fought agains Ash, it had happened that she penetrated his shoulder. However, because of that, Ash managed to win the fight because she had been shocked for a moment and after she saw no reaction due to the pain Ash should have felt, she was confused. Ash used this moment to push her to the ground and put his sword at her throat. Since that happened, Mrs Harbour started to respect him, even though she still wondered why he could ignore the pain she had caused him. But that didn't mean that she would go easy on him, she even started to take him more seriously since he had won.
The last lesson was like always self practise, where Ash pacticed his own skills. The last two lessons he had practiced summoning a partner who would help him in the battles, but that was only the top of the iceberg. Ash wanted this partner because he couldn't simply ask his sisters to sleep next to him and he had noticed that the nightmares were coming back.
When Ash drew the magiccircle at the ground, it lit up. Smoke appeared in the air around the circle and then a little roar could be heared. After the smoke had vanished, Ash could see a pack of wolfs sitting on the ground. They were probably bigger that Ash himself, but because of the magiccircle they looked like almost normal wolfs. After they had appeared, Ash steped forward to complete the summoning and bound them with him. Afterwards he removed the circle and was suprised by their hight. Every wolf was atleast twice as tall as Ash. The pack leader came towards him.
"You don't seem like you would need us in a fight." Ash heared the voice in his head."Well, i could need you in the future and besides, i didn't think about using one of you in a fight." Ash said. The leader was confused after Ashs answer. He laid down and looked Ash in the eyes. However, he noticed how tired Ash seemed to be. None of his teachers had noticed it, but Ash had used his Mask-Skill to hide his tiredness. However, the was the last lesson and no teacher was present, so before Ash had summoned them here, he deactivated his skill.
The pack leader had noticed Ash being tired, but he still had no idea what would happen to him. But he figured out, as Ash fell towards the wolf and as soon he could feel the fur, he slept save in sound. The pack leader could have moved, but he didn't. When Ash fell towards him, he only felt tiredness and nothing more. While Ash slept between the leaders frontlegs, the leader put his head down and buried Ash in the little hole between his paws and his head. While he could feel Ash sleeping, the other wolfs gathered around the leader and laid down like him.
