Redwood Brothers Stories

"SWEETS!" Kevin happily called him and even let go of his mom to go to her and before she knew it, he kissed her fully, like no one was around them. "I didn't know that you're also here... oh, hello, tita." He added when he saw her mom. "I'm sorry about that. I just missed your daughter so much."


"That's why you look familiar. You were the girl on the picture that my son sent a week ago. He said he'll gonna marry you." Melinda butted in.


"A week... ago?" She confusedly asked Kevin.


"When I was waiting for you at the resort." He informed her. "Before the argument."


"Frey, we heard you were pregnant, is he the father? Are you two getting married?" A friend of her mom interrupted.


"She's pregnant?" Melinda asked surprised and look at Kevin in disbelief. "Kevin?"


"Yes, she is. But when I told you about marrying her, we still didn't know about her pregnancy. We just found about it recently. We didn't expect it, but I swear I was really planning on asking her to marry me, mom. It's just that... I didn't get the right timing every time. I'm sorry. Even to you, tita Ofella, I'm sorry I made her pregnant first, before asking her to marry me."


"It's okay, hijo, as long as you'll make things right after." Her mom answered smiling at him.


Friday doesn't know if she's going to laugh at her mom or what. She's acting she didn't say she don't want him for her, just yesterday. Just because she doesn't want his appearance, and even said he doesn't look like she's going to do any good.


"You should plan the wedding as early as possible, before Frey's tummy will show up." Melinda said to Kevin like dictating him what to do. "And you must do her dream wedding, no matter what. That's your consequence for planning the baby first."


"I don't have a dream wedding," she finally said. "I am okay with anything. As long as I'm going to marry the man I love." She said as she smiles at Kevin beside her.


"You're too kind, Frey, but you still deserve a nice and big wedding, right Kevin?"


"Yeah. I'll do that, mom, don't worry. But first..." He faced her. "This is not what I planned, but I think I have to do this here." She gasped when he started to kneel on his feet in front of her.


"I always have this ring on me." He took the ring on his necklace. "Since my lola gave this to me and told me to give it to the woman I will love forever… now that I found you, I should give it you. Now sweets, my sweets, which made me hated the other days of the week except for one literal day. Friday. Will you accept me to be with you every day and be the mother of our children, Miss Friday Louisiana Alcaraz? Will you marry me?" He finally asked.


"Of course! Yes! I wanna marry you!" She shriek that made the other laughed at her. She didn't care as long as she's happy.


She put the ring in her finger and kissed her again. They heard cheers and claps from the crowd. Then they both helped on that charity event for a while. Then their mom let her go after. Kevin said he have to go somewhere.
