CRAVING

The earth king sat down on his throne. The whole throne room was dark without lights just like his heart. He was the earth king. The only ruler in the mortal realm and although the world was vast and wide, he had successfully managed to rule. He craved for power. To be able to rule over all the realms so that everyone would bow to him.

Suddenly, a bright red light appeared in the room. The earth king stood up from his throne. Lord Chaos smiled devilishly. Walking towards the earth king, Lord Chaos made a big ball of fire behind her back.

"Greetings Lord Chaos." The earth king said kneeling down.

"What happened to the Orane flower? Why haven't I heard any news yet? What? Don't tell me you don't want your antidote?" Lord Chaos asked.

"Lord Chaos, please be calm. I have sent...." The earth king started. Before he could continue, Lord Chaos shot the fire ball at him causing him to fly across the room, his head hitting his throne .

"You fool! You better find that flower. Until you do, I shall only give you half of the antidote" Lord Chaos said

Cleaning his mouth, he stood up.

"I will do so immediately. Lord Chaos you don't need to worry." The earth king said

Smiling to herself, Lord Chaos opened the door and walked out only to see Lord Sly waiting for her there.

"Lord Sly." Lord Chaos said

"Lord Chaos." Lord Sly said eating her with his eyes. She was very beautiful and she knew it. She always managed to make the fullest out of her beauty by dressing beautifully and putting on red lipstick that made every man go mad.

Standing by the pond in the mortal palace, Lord Chaos and Lord Sly sat there looking at each other.

"What are you doing here? Where you following me?" Lord Chaos asked

"No. I came here to also ask the earth king about the flower. Its certainly not in the heavenly realm and its not in the dark realm. The ancient books said it would surely be in the mortal realm. So it has to be here"Lord Sly said

"Apart from your remarkable intelligence, I don't see how you can help me or the dark king" Lord Chaos said drinking her tea.

"I know you think I am useless. You don't see any good thing in me except when you need me to plan something devious for you. You just use me" Lord Sly said

"Yes. Lord Sly, we are demons. We are not those useless humans or those hypocrites in the heavenly realm. You know in the demon realm, only the useful can stay alive. You are the powerful Lord Sly of the demon realm. Your intelligence is unmatched in all the three realms. What else do you want?" Lord Chaos asked despite knowing the answer. Lord Sly was in love with her.

"What else do I want? What else have I been craving for? You answer me, Jie Nan" Lord Sly said

"Elder sister. I am your elder sister. How dare you be so unruly calling me by my real name? Lord Sly, don't cross any more boundaries" Lord Chaos said

"I will be taking my leave, elder sister!" Lord Sly said disappearing.

"Lord Sly," Lord Chaos said walking towards him after he disappeared.

"Jie Nan, don't go after him." Lord Chaos heard someone say. It was him. It had to be him.

Turning back, she saw Lord Pain standing there dressed in a black fur coat which was the only thing he was wearing. Underneath it, he was not wearing any piece of clothing. His abs He looked domineering and sexy. Her hands longed to touch his skin. To feel it in her hands just like in the past when they had been young.

"What are you doing here? Did you also come because of the flower?" Lord Chaos said breathlessly

"No. I came here because of you." Lord Pain said standing in front of her. She had still not changed. She was as beautiful as ever. Drawing her close to him, his nose was flooded with her scent. Her scent that nearly made him go mad.

"Because of me? Why? I thought you no longer care about me?" Lord Chaos asked

"This has nothing to do with feelings. I....." Lord Pain started before Lord Chaos used her hand to stop him.

"Lord Pain, you truly live up to your reputation. Why won't you just say you love me?" Lord Chaos asked

Meanwhile, Tingzhe followed Fengge around helping him lie. Crown prince was indeed naive. The disciple of the Raven Sect wasn't the way people expected. They were close brothers who protected each other.

"Greetings first brother" Some disciples passing by said

"No need for formalities." Tingzhe said

"Tingzhe, I have been looking everywhere for you. I just wanted to thank you for helping me that day. I may still be recovering but I wanted to give you this box of cultivation pills. They can help you increase your powers greatly" Fengge said while Tingzhe looked at him.

"First brother, its time for dinner." A disciple said

"Okay. We will go out immediately" Tingzhe said.

When they arrived outside, disciples were sitting down in fours round a big camp fire. One of them was busy roasting the meat. They looked more united than those in the heavenly realm. Well, they hardly ate because they were supposed to at the peak of their cultivation.

Going down, Fengge sat down with Tingzhe and his other two disciples. Upon seeing Tingzhe, all of them stood up.

"Greetings first brother." All the disciples said

"Don't stand on formalities. Go ahead. Eat." Tingzhe said as all of them sat down.

"First brother. You are here. Here. I brought you some rice" Yingtai said pushing Fengge out of the way. Luckily he was able to stop himself from falling.

"Are you blind? Can't you see the envoy of the dark king is here?" Tingzhe said

"Envoy?" Ruan Ming said and all the disciples looked back.

"Don't stand. Its OK. No need for formalities." Fengge said

"Please sit. I hope you liked the sect." Ruan Ming asked

"Of course I did. Raven sect is not like what I expected" Fengge said

"Here's your rice." Tingzhe said handing over a bowl of rice to Fengge.

All of them looked up as Lord Chaos flew above their head. The dark witch was back. Tingzhe stood up immediately. Judging by her face, she was definitely not in a good mood. This can only be caused by his father, Lord Pain. Just like his name, he had done nothing but give his mother pain.

Reaching her room, he stopped in the hallway as he heard her crying. She was the beautiful Lord Chaos of the dark realm. Yet she was crying over a man she loved. A man who probably had no idea what love meant. Sensing someone behind him, Tingzhe turned and saw it was Lord Pain.

"You bastard. What are you doing here?" Tingzhe asked walking towards him.

"Pain." Lord Pain said causing Tingzhe to fall to the ground.

The pain was unbearable. It felt like there were a million scorpion bites all cover his skin.

"Don't you talk to me like that. I am your father. You are being very unruly. Is this how Lord Chaos trained you?" Lord Pain asked

"Don't you dare speak about my home training. Or insult my mother. You are annoying and I hate you! You hear me!" Tingzhe said groaning.

"You are my son. You should not condemn me when you don't know the full story. I did not want to leave you alone." Lord Pain said and Tingzhe laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" Lord Pain asked

"Till the day I die, I will never see you as my father and you better not tell anyone that I am your son because I will disown you" Tingzhe said

"Don't you dare say such words!" Lord Chaos said

"Have you lost it? You are still defending a man who left you while you were pregnant. Have you lost all your shame, mother?" Tingzhe asked and Lord Chaos raised her hand to slap him.

"Don't slap him, Jie Nan." Lord Pain said

"Don't interfere in the way I behave towards my son. Leave. Leave!" Lord Chaos said shouting.

Lord Pain took his leave. When he arrived in the outskirts of the sect, he used his power to scorch the ground. They were his family and he should be with them. Not a single day passed that he wasn't thankful that Tingzhe didn't inherit his pain powers. Only then would they understand.

"Little brother, I know that you want to reunite with Jie Nan. But if you do that, you will be offering her nothing but pain. Your pain powers are too strong. Anyone that stays around you will be in danger." The dark king had once said.

Because of that, he had been unable to say the words he wanted to say. The words she was craving to hear. Once he slept with one of the maids and when he woke up the next day, she was dead. He couldn't do that to Jie Nan. It was better she hated him. At least he could see her alive.
