The Third Person

As if he was hit with a lightning bolt, Ryan froze. Realizing that there was another person outside the room, the two of them quickly sat up without looking at each other.

The knocking continued impatiently outside.

Rhea quickly wore the water back.

"You... okay?" After a few seconds, he asked.

"Yes, she said as she got off his bed. She slowly walked towards the door, to open it.

"Wait," he said. She paused then turned around. With steady steps and a frown, he walked to her. She stroked her head twice, trying to tidy her. His eyes quickly analysed the way she looked. He quickly grabbed her scarf from the table next to them and wrapped it around her. He started at her for a few seconds, as if unwilling to let her go. At last, he licked his lips before leaning and pressing them on hers.
