Race in the Ice

The next morning, as Ryan had already asked her, they were not leaving Harbin. He woke them up in the afternoon and asked them to get ready. Rhea was late to fall asleep since she was having a video call with her dad for more than an hour. Rhea was still feeling lazy to get up. Still, she managed to do so.

She brushed her teeth and got ready for whatever adventure Ryan was going to present her that day. Yes, it was all adventure. None of her days with him made sense anymore. She was almost on the edge of the river. One step forward and she'd go with the flow. Whatever direction he wanted her to go, she'd go. But yet, there was one tiny step for her. One tiny distance that protected her from doing so.

This day was not so different from the previous day. It was still so cold on the outside. It was still snowing, even more than the previous days. This day felt even more beautiful which Rhea originally thought not possible.
