[Bonus chapter] Truth

"Flynn, leave me alone," Rhea grunted.

"That can't be done, I'm afraid. You can shut me out but what are you going to say when uncle asks you these questions?"

"..." Rhea was silent. She had no answer.

With a sigh, Flynn turned to her. He looked like he was not going to pester her with this anymore. "Do you want to go for a ride?" he asked.

"A ride?"

"I have something important to talk with you about," he said. Rhea's face showed irritation thus he had to confirm it was not about her marriage. Finally, Rhea reluctantly agreed.

Flynn took her to Campbell lake. It used to be her favourite winter spot when she was young and a skater. But now, it felt unfamiliar to her in the winter. The two found a spot to sit down and speak by the lake, looking at those who were skating.

"What does it feel like to look at those who skate, Rhea?" Flynn asked still looking at those people.

Rhea frowned before saying, "Nothing."
