Part 5 - So Much For A Birthday

VALERIE'S MIND

"Lukas..." I said while trying to sit him down.

He sat down after clenching his fists... To be honest, I was scared. I was scared that i was going to lose my life. I couldn't talk properly, I couldn't move my legs. It was a nightmare...

LUKAS'S MIND

Just looking at Valerie, I felt so bad for her... I knew who did this but i was scared that if i confronted her, She would do it again... It was Holly who did it i just don't know whether i should confront her or not...

"Jack, Get out!" Said Jenna winking at Valerie, Almost as if she was signalling something...

"No, That girl is MY mate and I'm not leaving without her!" Said Jack.

He obviously regrets rejecting Valerie but he can't just burst in and act annoyed even though he rejected her.

"Look, Dude. You don't want her! So back off! You're the one that rejected her and now you're trying to tourture her with the pain! Just give over!" I said obviously furious.

"Exactly!" Jenna said agreeing with me.

"Guys, Please just stop..." Valerie said pleading.

She looked as if she was about to faint. We all looked back and all of a sudden, Her monitors went off like a bomb...

Loads of doctors came rushing in and one even fainted at the sight.

"GO! YOU SHOULDN'T BE HERE RIGHT NOW!" said a doctor begging us to get out.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING TO HER?!?" I screamed.

"OKAY FINE! YOU AND THE LADY CAN COME IN AS LONG AS YOU CAN HELP!" said the doctor shaking with fear.

"Trust me, WE CAN!" Said Jenna looking absolutely scared.

Jenna was crying at this point but she tryed to stay brave. Valerie was in heat and I knew if an umated Alpha kissed a female wolf in heat, That it would heal them so i kissed her...

"SIR, WHAT EVER YOU'RE DOING, IT'S WORKING!" Said one of the doctors pushing a button.

Jenna looked really pale like she was about to pass out but her mate came in just in time.

All the monitors stopped and she was okay.

"Okay, It's all good now." said the doctor. "Just take good care of her."

"We will..." Said Jenna in a shaky voice.

I was terrified for Valerie at this point.  She didn't deserve this...

"Okay, Well, i'm Going to tak-" I said before being interrupted by the monitors going off again.

I tried to carry her to the bath and i couldn't lower her in without dropping her so i just lowered us both in.

I asked Jenna to get us some clothes since the ones we were wearing were soaked.

"Okay, Here you go..." Said Jenna.

"Thanks Jen. You're a good big sister, You know." I said kindly.

"Wow, Thanks. I've never really had a compliment before..." Said Jenna.

"Sure, Anyways, I going to take Valerie Back to the pack house and keep her safe for the night." I said looking happy..

VALERIE'S MIND

So i came back to the pack house from the pack hospital and I guess I'm spending the night with Lukas.

"Just so you know, There are two separate beds so you dont have to sleep with me! Haha!" Lukas said smiling at me. I smiled back.

"Hey umm, Valerie. I never really got to know you properly so can i ask you a couple of questions to get to know you a little better?" Said Lukas looking as if he hesitated on asking me that.

"Sure! What do you want to know?" I said looking curious.

"So where do you come from?" He said looking excited.

"I come from Canada. What about you?" I said.

"I come from Canada too!" He said smiling at the coincidence.

"Cool!" Anything else you wanna know?" I said looking excited.

"Where are your parents now?" He said looking very happy.

"They're umm, Well my Mom passed away when i was 4 and my dad doesn't want anything to do with me so yeah..." I said close to tears.

"I'm so sorry... It must have been hard..." he said having pity for me.

" It's okay.. It's not your fault!" I said looking really upset.

The more i got to know him, i realised...

I liked Lukas...
