Chapter 4: The Handsome Guy

Y/N's POV:

I stood there, frozen, as a stunningly handsome guy appeared before me. His golden hair, beautiful eyes, and pale skin made him look like a prince. He flashed a gorgeous smile, and I felt my heart skip a beat. He waved his hand in front of my face, and I snapped out of my trance, feeling embarrassed.

Jimin: Hello! I'm your new neighbor, Jimin. I just moved in, and I don't know anyone in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd come over to introduce Myself.
Y/N: ( spaced out ) I've never seen such a beautiful creature in my whole life...
Oh no, I spaced out in front of him again. How embarrassing.... ( regains composure ) "Y-yes, please come in".
Jimin: (smiling) Thanks! Your place is lovely. (eyes never leaving Y/N's face)
Y/N: (nervously) Please have a seat. Do you want anything to drink?
Jimin: (declining) Oh no, no thank you. I can see that I have such kind neighbors.... (smiles).

Y/N: (thinking) I didn't see anything, aaah! Why is he smiling so much? My poor heart (>0<;)

As we continued our conversation, I couldn't help but notice his knowing smile, like he knew a secret. his eyes never leaving mine. I felt my cheeks flush, and my heart raced. Why did he smile so much?!

We chatted, and I learned he was friendly and kind. Lily was busy with her new job and boyfriend, so Jimin and I spent more time together, becoming friends fast. But I couldn't deny the flutter in my chest whenever he was near. Was I developing feelings for him beyond friendship?
