Chapter Sixty Seven

A low groan slipped from a pair of dry pouty lips. Grimacing, she turned to her side and shifted the blankets away from her face. Her eyes cracked open only to immediately shut.

"What the-" 

She clenched her teeth hissing at the stinging sensation shooting through her eyes. She had only opened them for a second. Rina pulled the blanket over her head and turned her face into the soft pillow. Waiting for the burning sensation to go away.

Rina relaxed into the plush cushion before pulling back from the pillow. Her eyes slit open, now under the blanket most of the sun was blocked out. But her eyes still ached from the dull glow seeping through the blanket. Rina slowly opened her eyes hesitant to feel the stinging sensation again. It was much darker under the blanket yet her eyes still ached.
