Tribulation And Continuous Cultivation Ascension

Every time you reach the next Tier, you will experience tribulation and if you survive it then you will ascend to the next Tier.

Only a few cultivators have reached the Deity Tier because they can't handle the tribulation.

Most cultivators have died because of the tribulation that befalls them.

That is the reason why most of the beings in here walks the path of magic since it doesn't involve any tribulation whenever a magician ascend the next Tier.

The only disadvantage of being a magician is you must be knowledgeable to understand the magic spell that you are going to cast.

I only need to worry about my upcoming tribulation which will happen if I want to ascend Low Tier.

I navigate and search for monsters that are lower than Low Tier.

I found some goblins who are Lowest Tier Layer 8 in cultivation rank.

They are quite strong for me but since I used to be the strongest sword then I at least have some powerful skills at my disposal.

I use [Chaos Sword Art Form 1- Execution] and a wave of dark red energy slashes through the group of goblins and I have attained Lowest Tier Layer 10 after killing all of the goblins.

I might have my tribulation sooner or later so I go to a cave and started meditating.

The clouds start to darken and accumulate while bolts of lighting are gathering in each cloud.

A bolt of blue lightning strikes me which electrify me and the electric shockwave goes through all of my body since my body is made out of metal.

After a minute of being continuously stricken by lightning, my body feels stronger than before but not as strong as when I was at my peak.

I have to reach Low Tier Layer 1 and to test my power, I search for monsters and I found some forest boars which are Low Tier Layer 5 in rank.

The forest boars are stampeding in a group and they consist of 10 in their group.

I use a normal slash this time and it killed all of the forest boars which makes me attain Low Tier Layer 10.

I am struck by lightning again as I have reached the bottleneck of my cultivation.

I gather some of my sword energy to cove my body and defend from the incoming lightning strikes that befall upon me.

The lightning's destructive power is nothing to scoff at since it destroyed the surrounding trees except for me who survived the onslaught of the lightning.

I have attained Mid Tier Layer 1 in my cultivation rank and quite proud of myself for obtaining such rank in just an hour. After all, I used to be the world's strongest sword.

I search for another monster so that I can reach another cultivation rank and I found a monster that has the cultivation of Intermediate Rank Layer 1 and it looks like it just survived its tribulation so I can kill it pretty easily since it is at it's weakest.

I gather half of my sword energy to charge my body and throw the charged energy in my body towards the monster and the energy forms a huge slash that cuts through the monster and the trees behind it.

After killing the monster, I have absorbed a lot of sword energy from it and now I have attained Mid Tier Layer 5.

I might be on par with some independent cultivators that roam around the continent but not with some members of a cultivation sect.

I find another monster and its cultivation rank is Mid Tier Layer 9 and it's a group of huge bats who are inside a cave taking a rest. If I estimate it then there are at least 30 bats in there.

I prepare and gather my sword energy and make it into a force that sucks energy in its surroundings and after that, I slowly entered the cave while my body is acting like a black hole for energy.

This sword move is [Chaos Sword Art Form 2- Absorb] and it can absorb any energy in its surroundings turning it into sword energy. By doing so, I can make my opponent lose their energy but I can only absorb energy until I reach my capacity which is attaining Layer 10 and it applies to all cultivation Tiers.

Since all of the bats' energies were absorbed, they now looked like monsters who haven't eaten for months ad their body is very thin that their bones can be almost seen.

Thanks to the energy of a lot of Mid Tier monsters, I have attained Mid Tier Layer 10 and as usual, the sky is starting to darken and accumulates dark storm clouds and from the looks of it, my tribulation will come.

Even though I am exhausted from the continuous breakthroughs, I am still excited to attain a higher cultivation rank so I can step out of this mountain and might as well find a new master to wield me.

My master must be at least a Divine Tier in cultivation ranks but I don't mind my master being in the Lowest Tier rank but has a one in billion talent that can be called a prodigy.

But that being said, my previous is a prodigy in using the ord, a, and his swordsmanship rivals the swordsmanship of cultivators above his rank.

Purple lightning suddenly strikes me and the force of this lightning is much more powerful than the previous blue lightning that had stricken me before.

I am being continuously bombarded and struck by the purple lightning and the power of the purple lightning is at least 5 times stronger than the blue lightning.

I might survive this tribulation for now but if I reach my tribulation when I'm in the Supreme Tier to ascend the Legendary Tier then black lightning will strike me with a force that is 10 times stronger than the purple lightning.

I don't know if I can survive lightning that strong but I'll prepare some defensive formation to protect me.

I might unlock my sword spirit form and I can blend in the human world using my sword spirit form which looks like a human's body.

The only difference between my body and human is that my body is mug more durable and sturdier compared to a human's body that some of them might think that I'm a body cultivator.

As I am immersed in thinking of preparing for the future before I know it, the tribulation has vanished and I have attained Intermediate Tier Layer 3 in cultivation rank.

I have attained an extra 3 Layers in my cultivation since I had absorbed a lot of energy from the bats.

With my chaotic sword physique, I can defeat an opponent that is 2 major realms higher than myself.

A major realm is equal to 1 Tier and a minor realm is equal to 1 Layer. This was used by cultivators to differentiate their strength from someone stronger or weaker than them.

I find another monster to slay and to my surprise, I find a Supreme Tier Layer 10 monster who is in the state of cultivating as it is meditating right now.

I might as well absorb all of its energy without making the monster notice me.

I activate [Chaos Sword Art Form 2- Absorb] and a much more powerful suction force than before is trying to pull energy from the surroundings and also the monster making the monster lose its cultivation rank little by little until it only has Lowest Tier Layer 1 in cultivation rank.

Thanks to the huge amount of energy I absorbed from the monster, I am now Intermediate Tier Layer 10 and huge black clouds start to gather in the sky which means that I'm going to have my tribulation right now.

I go to a cave so that it can reduce at least 20% of the lightning's force since the lightning will still need to go through the tough ceiling of the cave.

Purple lightning keeps on striking the cave until the cave shakes and shatters into pieces of rocks.

Since the cave is destroyed, the purple lightning now keeps on striking me until five minutes have passed and my tribulation finally finished.

I have now attained High Tier Layer 4 and after I ascend and reach Supreme Tier then I can unlock my sword spirit form and also a new chaos sword art form.

The new sword art form needs to drain a lot of sword energy and even though I can perform all of the sword art forms but I can't use it right now or it might drain all of my sword energy making me into a cripple.

After an hour of killing monsters and finishing my tribulation, I have now attained Supreme Tier Layer 1.

An appearance of a human with long pitch-black hair that reaches the waist, an average build, and a height of 6.5 feet tall is now me.

I have transformed into a rather handsome figure. My right eye color is also pitch black but my other eye is covered with my bangs and it has a color of violet.

Looks like I have unlocked my "Eye Of Chaos" and "Eye Of Destruction". Even though I can't use them right now but I might use them shortly if I attain Legendary Tier.
