CHAPTER 3
"Darn it." a man shouted in a wrathful voice as I bumped straight of on his massive and hard chest in the hallway. I suddenly looked up and realizes whom I bumped into. I was so stunned, I don't know ,I just find myself staring and wordless.
"E-Earl?"I stuttered. Yes, definitely he is.
Looking up, I lay my eyes on him and quickly scan the rest of his handsome face. His hair was a dark brown that is slightly grown out, sharp jawline and a soft pink lips and my favorite part, his brownish eyes that are glued to mine now. He didn't even change , I mean, he's still my bestfriend ,Earl I have loved for so long. He still give this kind of affection,a kind of unexplainable feeling. And I really hate to admit it,Fudge! I still do like him.
"Excuse me?, I think you're in hurry and I'm sure you're very late now".he snapped out and smirk. Oh my gosh! That was so shame and before I could even react ,he immediately put away my hand out of his chest and quickly step aside from me then leave.
I was so stunned ,I can't even move, just standing here and watching him until he get lost. I still can compare how fast he's out of my sight just like how we end up our friendship abruptly.
That was so close ,I mean after those years this is just the first time we get close again. But he didn't bother to mention my name ,it seems that I'm just a stranger to him. Honestly, its hard to admit that I miss him, his voice, laughs, sweetness, smiles and all.
Gosh! Asleigh what are you thinking?!
I snapped back to reality and before I could even muster ,a familiar hoarse voice whispers behind me that sent shivers disgust down my spine. And I can even sense that he's standing really close to me coz I really feel his lips thoroughly touch my ears. Arghhhh!!
"Goodluck! You're almost 5minutes late. And I'm quite confused why are you always blocking my way huh?"he whispered and move his way infront of me just to face and will get on my nerves incontrovertibly.
He stood tall and his sharp gaze landed on me. The man is droppingly beautiful ,his sharp brownish eyes that laid on me ,his wavy hair looked perfectly set on top of his head , with pearly playful smile. Wait..Did I just mentally give him compliments and described him pleasantly ??No damn wayy!! I hate him!!. I hate XION.
I quickly shook out of my head and blankly stared him.
" Oww, really ?? How about you then? And as far as I've noticed, you're such a goddamn FC stranger, as in Feeling Close, hmmm? And you're not one of my professor to tell me that I'm very late, Asshole!!".and step aside from his side .
"And by the way, you're accusation is on the contrary. See?? You're the one who's blocking my way! Get off!!."I said and give him a playful smirked. His eyebrows gets furrowed and his lips are in a tight line. He looks furious, Yay! I made him so pissed. Asleigh's one point.

"Good morning Mrs. Gilig as well as you classmates. I apologize for being late. May I come in?" I nervously said. In my whole life , this is definitely the first time I get late and I feel so embarrassed.
" You're Ms. Perez, right? "she said and laid her eyes on me.

"Yes, Mrs. Gilig." I immediately responded and bow my head.
" Okay Ms. Perez ,take your sit now and get your book open it to page 12. I hope that it will never be done again. Are we all clear Ms. Perez?" she commanded and I think I made her so pissed. Her mood change. Oh my gosh what I've really done.
"Yes Mrs. Gilig , I will not do it again .I'm so sorry." I stand and show her my apologetic face , coz' I really am.
"That would be noted Ms. Perez, but for now let's have a reporting regarding to our lesson this quarter and I will group you by pair that are composed of a boy and a girl. " she stated and get her class record in which our names placed.
"Alvarona, Joseph and Altamarino, Kate
Bladymir, Clarenz and Carillas, Celine....
"Muñez, Earl and Perez, Asleigh."
I stiffened. I was so shock and astonished! Did I really hear that right ? Earl? As in Earl Jamesdominique Muñez? Are we really classmates.
And before I could even figure out what I'm doing ,my classmates confusedly look at me. I' m just standing here huh? What's the—darn??? Did I just stand? Crap!!
" Yes, Ms. Perez? What's the matter?
Is there any problem?". she confusedly said. And everyone look at me. Oh, Crap! I just found myself awkwardly standing.
Can I just be gone now, as in right now?.Aishh!!
" Ahh.. mm j-just nothing Maam.I mean, arghhh! What should I say . Ahhmm, Can I just excuse myself Maam? Just a call of nature." Fudge!! Swallowing loudly after my poor attempt at my sentence.
"Okay Ms. Perez , just ask your partner the instructions I've given after." she responded and laid his eyes again to the class record, then continue pairing names for reporting . And I quickly leave the room without any hesitations.
"PHEWWWW!!! " I mumbled as I finally get out but I really can't get over, Earl and I are classmates and the worst is he will be my partner. Swear, this will be so awkward. Arghhhh! Should I say it's worst or should I think that it's not bad?. And what I've done earlier so embarrasing!! , I think that's the worst.

Katia and I take our lunch and as usual she always have something to talk to but I didn't even bother to listen and hear it. Because in all honesty, Earl and I being classmates can't get off my mind. I really can't get over.Aisshh!! Does fate intentionally made it?
I brought back to my sanity when someone cupped my chicks and slightly pinch it out. Oh my!! I almost forgot Katia's presence.
"Hey, Ashie? Penny for your thoughts?
As I've noticed ,you're not listening to me and you didn't even bother to just touch your food. What happened?" she frowned and pout her lips.
"Oh! I'm so sorry, Katia. It's nothing ,just ahmm..migraine. Let's start eating now?
By the way, mind if you continue your chitchats earlier? Hmmm??". I amended and we both start eating our lunch.
And then I saw his eyes glistening ,and I'm pretty sure it's not directed towards me and well, her eyes not looking straightway on mine as well but its on my back as I traced where her eye's directed .Really? I wonder what or who it is so i turn my back to looked at it too but I didn't see something huh? It's just Xion Charles again ,Katia's bet ..tsskk!!
"Oh my Goshh! Ashieee, his so goddamn gorgeous and hot. I can't take my eyes off him ,his so good to be true. You know what ??he's and ideal man every girl wish for , his so smart ,gentleman, gorgeous , simply, he's perfect Ashiee!! "
she dreamly said and didn't get his eyes off to that Asshole. Geezz!! What did she do to my bestfriend
"You know what? Katia I really can't agree with you. You're almost praising him for pete's sake. I don't know what did he do to you coz frankly I don't even give a damn, okay? Katia I'm so sorry but to tell honestly , I hate that Asshole." I admittedly said ,I'm so feed up to all of that disgusting words that Katia's always talked out.
"Why? He's good and let me ask you .
What did Xion do to you to hate him so bad and to act like that ,that's so odd especially on you ,and just by looking his godly-faced you easily get pissed?" she curiously asked.
"Tell me ,Is it because.. yesterday? When he whispered and murmured something in your oww! sensitive ears huh?? Coz if that's the case ,then I tell you that's definitely illogical Ashie." she elucidated.
Katia's right , I mean I really don't know .
Coz when Xion get so much attention and compliments , I can see that his getting arrogant and conceited. And I hate it when people gets lordly as if they are. Tsskkk!!Did I really reason that right? Aishhh.
I dont know but I'm pretty sure that he deserve all of my hates period. And I will proved that to my bestfriend Katia that I'm right!hmmppp!!
"You don't understand but I will prove it to you how disgusting he is. And definitely you will hate him so bad too." I furiously retorted.
Wait? Do I have to? Oh my!! This is not good!! I didn't give a damn to others especially on him!! Argghhhh. Okay I will just take it back.
"Really ,then prove it to me Ashiee. That is really exciting. I'll count on you Ashiee. No backouts." she exclaimed and wink.
"Wh–what??? NO DAMN WAY .I'M NOT WASTING MY TIME TO A WORTHLESS ONE SO I WILL JUST TAKE MY WORDS BACK. And I will promise you Katia ,I will no longer bicker your thoughts on him. I'm so sorry Katia. "
I genuinely smiled and held her hand to stand up to head back in our class.
"Now ,Let's go it's almost time . I will never allow myself to get late again and ofcourse you won't to." I plainly stated. And quickly put my things in my bag but Katia didn't move , don't say if you want to get late Katia so I asked her again.
What is this again! Katia's face turned red , she blush? ,The sparkle on her eyes were evident and her lips formed ij a perfectly "O". When I was about to ask Katia's changing geste, Again a familiar hoarse voice talking ,I mean interrupting me.
"H—hi Xion , I mean thank you for returning this" she then raised her notebook, Ooppss!! That's her diary notebook.
"I didn't know that I lost it .Thank you so much Xion, Ahmm? By the way how did you find out that it's me" she blushly said and then give her sweet smile, I mean Katia's sweetest smile ever.
"Your welcome, and well I've heard her" pointing me ."Your bestfriend right? I've always heard her mentioning your name so I'm pretty sure it's you, doubtless. As I've noticed you really love hello kittys." he then smiled and look at me.
"Xion, let me introduce you my bestfriend. She's Asleigh Georgina Perez , you can call her Ashie if you want and she loves color yellow and panda stuffs and–." I glared and cut her out. She's so talkative!!
"Stop that Katia ,let's go. Were running out of time " and grabbed her hand to head off on our class. And I don't want to talk to him. Before I could finally get out.
" It's really nice to meet you Asleigh". he shouted just enough to get my nerves up and burned me out. He really wants to pissed me off huh? Triggerrrr!!! I stepped back and face him.
" Really? That was so damn Yuck! " I fakely vomit and give him a disgusting look.
"Unfortunately, It's really disgusting to meet you Asshole!! You're really are annoying and overweening Flirt!" then rolled my eyes on him then quickly leave him before I can do something unpleasant .My reputation is important!
"Goodbye , Xion see you next time" she vociferated and wave her hand towards him.
"Hey, what's really happening to you?
Why are you acting like that ? I mean, you're acting different when you're facing Xion. I really can't figure out ,what's the matter, Ashiee". she blurted and studied me to get some clues.
" Katia?,please let's just stop talking about him. I just don't like him and I will never do , so I hope that made sense Katia?" I faced her with my convincing look.
"I don't know Ashiee, all i know is hating someone is bad and its very odd especially when it comes from you. And please don't allow yourself to hate him,he don't deserve to be hated and you don't as well." she confronted and hugged me.
" I just don't like it when you act like that Ashiee. Drastically, I'm really not used to it .I just want you to be always you.
Okay? If you find him so bad then just let him ,ignore him and just don't let your decisions hits you. I know your reputations and grades is important.
Now , give me your sweetest smile Ashieee." she cupped my cheeks and I give her my sweetest smile ever. We let out a small chuckles.
Yeah! Katia is right .I am not that bad ,I never hate people but did I really change?. I think no ,it's just a feeling of annoyance. Maybe that's it , I easily get annoyed with Xion. Am I that judgemental? Hayss . Okay!! From now on , I will never get annoyed with Xion.I will try to be more considerate and just ignored him, just like what Katia said.

Walks were peaceful when Katia's nit around . Well, she's busy today and unfortunately , she will go home late today so I just said to go home first.
And yeah she will not allow me to waut her maybe because they will take so long.
But as I got out , someone's looking directly at me. I mean he's not that someone but his Earl. I was so stunned ,I don't what to react and to say.
"I just want to inform you that were partners for our incoming reports. And I know that you're aware of that right?". he plainly said and waiting for my response.
"Ahh,hmmm". I stuttered and just nod , I couldn't say something.
"Good , so Mrs. Gilig already gave me the instructions and the topic. Tomorrow you will come home with me ,were doing all of these at my house, if that's okay with you?" he explained and curiously asked. Not getting off his eyes on me.
"Ahh.. I will try to ask my parents first" i responded. And he just nod and then leave .
That's it? I mean, I still very happy because Earl talked to me for the very first time. Well, i know he build walls but I promise to break it. I will get my bestfriend back and I will explain to him everything. I miss Earl , I really do miss him. I am so excited for tomorrow, I want to see his Mama and Dad again. This will be the the first time to visit their hpuse again ,after so many years.
