The 11th Birthday Secret

One Sunny bright morning, Euphemia woke up from the noise of utensils coming from the kitchen on ground floor. Severus shouted and said, "Euphemia, Happy Birthday..... Come down I have a surprise for you!!!" "Coming Master", replied Euphemia. Euphemia had deep Black eyes with deep brown hair.

She got ready and rushed down. "Hey Master!! You promised me to tell me about my parents on my 11th Birthday." Said Euphemia excitedly. "Ya sure, but before that I have another surprise for you!!" said Severus hesitatingly because he did not want to tell Euphemia about her parents. "So wanna hear about the surprise", he continued. "Hmm.... Ok", said Euphemia. "You're GOING TO HOGWARTS, my dear", Severus replied. "Oh wow, I've heard about that school so much, I'm very excited!!!" said Euphemia excitedly.

~Severus pulled out a letter from his pocket and handed it over to Euphemia~

~Euphemia jumped excitedly~

"Master, Thank you for this, but please tell me about my parents as u promised.... I can't bear the pain of not knowing about my parents" she said. "Ok so listen carefully", Said Severus. "Euphemia you had a very beautiful and intelligent mother, where as your father was a very lazy and arrogant man", He added. "Was my father really arrogant or just you hated him?" asked Euphemia surprisingly. "It's none of your business" Said Snape arrogantly.

~Euphemia started Sobbing~

"I want to know about them since ages, and you are not even ready to tell me about them" Euphemia said sadly. "How could you do that" she added. "Stop crying!!" said Severus consoling her, "I want to tell you something else", He added. "Your mother Lilly and your father James, we're killed by dark lord, and now the dark lord is after your brother" said Severus confidently. "My brother? Who? You never mentioned that I have a brother" Asked Euphemia uncertainly. "I can't tell you MORE, now the time will tell u rest" said Severus while droping Euphemia to diagon alley to buy school stuff.
