My Resolution

"How about for yourself, to start to build your own family now?"

Well... She was right. I should consider marrying my girlfriend now. But, my family matters more than my girlfriend. So, I replied to her,

"I have no plans for it yet. But for now. I will go with you, mom."

"You don't have to think much about me, Wandi. Sooner or longer. I will be left this world much faster than you."

She sipped her tea calmly after she stated so. However, I can't accept it! So, I replied to her,

"Touch wood! You will shen ti jiang kang!* You are gonna see that I'm becoming a successful author and a top IT guy! One for my passion, and another one for my profession! And you are gonna be zhang ming bai shui**. They won't take your life any time soon. Not until... Not..."

Tears dripped from my face. Why... I felt that I was unable to let her go as well just in case that would be ended like it.

But... I have to accept it as well as it was bound to happen someday. However, I believe that she will zhang ming bai shui**.

I have that faith, mom! I believe you can live longer!

I wiped my own tears and then. I told her decisively,

"I'm not gonna marry everyone yet until I'm satisfied enough to be your filial son!"

The tea that she drank had been poured out brutally from her mouth to the floor. She laughed as I told her so and she said,

"You are thinking too much about it, Wandi. Of course, mama will support you regardless of the result. Now, Let's work with the next. The Dragon!"

Yay! The Dragon!!!

Amongst of every decoration in Chinese new year, Dragons were my favorite!

I have decided to walk hurriedly towards the main room and then. Climbed to the staircase straightaway near the ceilings and I asked my mom,

"Did you bought that dragon?"

She walked gently towards the main room. And then, she told me.

"Not yet."

DUDE! I was busy with my university and my job. That part was supposed to be bought by my sister! What the hell!

Never mind. I decided,

"Mom. Can I go out for buying it?"

"Just wait for your sister. Let's do the other things!" She replied to me in a cheering tone as she took the long-armed broom. Then, she hurled it to me playfully as she knew that I could be able to grab it easily. And yes, I'm grabbing it.

Then, she smirked and she told me.

"Now, Wandi. Clean the ceilings at every corner of it. I could see so many traces of spiderwebs there!"

Errrgh. Not that again! The Job that definitely I hated most!

But yes. I decided.

It was not about what I hated or not. But it was about my filial worth to my mom. For me, being filial means I will get zhao cai jin bao*** any time soon!
