Chapter 21: Slowly Falling

"I'm sorry," said Jacks as he offered to help Damien up. He rejected him and got up. Damien shrugged, fixed his leather jacket and left.

"Let's continue this another day, ok?" Clarissa said and we agreed. I went to my room and I didn't speak to Damien the whole night. I just went to sleep.

"Adryan! Adryan!" Someone yelled. They waved their hand in my face. I couldn't see who it was and the room was filled with a very loud noise, like an engine. I couldn't explain it. "Adryan!" They yelled one last time and my vision finally cleared. Jacks was standing there yelling my name,

"Adryan it's time" he said and I looked at him confused. I looked around and I was on an airplane. I started freaking out.

"What's wrong?" He placed his hands on both of my shoulders.

"S...scared of planes," I said stuttered. He smiled calmly,

"it's ok. You agreed to this in the first place. Do you want me to jump with you?" Jump? Hell no! I got up and I stood on the edge of the door. The sky was light green and the clouds were a soft purple. I was suddenly hypnotized. It was so beautiful.

"I can do it on my own" I said as soon as I saw the beautiful sky, my fear banished like smoke.

"Are you sure?" He asked with his head peaking in my side. I nodded and he prepared me.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Yes," I answered and he gave me a thumbs up.

"The sky is yours" he patted my back and I prepared to jump. After a few seconds, I finally jumped. As soon as I started falling, everything felt like it was in slow motion. the beautiful sky changed colors, to pink, blue, red, and also gold. All the colors faded away and the sky turned to a beautiful starry night sky. I heard the stars glimmer each and every one. The light shined beautifully. I opened my arms and I started swaying around. The sun appeared and it turned to an average sky. I started seeing a city and I was close to landing. I started getting closer to the ocean, the waves crashing sending chills all over my body. I decided to pull the parachute. I flew to the other side of the city and I flew past multiple buildings. I saw my old house. I smile grew on my face as I thought of the amazing memories I had in that house. Oliver, my parents, a reason I miss home. I thought I was going to land in the ceiling but I passed right through. I was in my room. I landed softly on my bed. That's when I woke up. I was still in the hotel. It was just a dream and a really good one. Damien was already asleep. I laid facing the other side and I thought of the dream. The airplane, the amazing skies, the journey, flying through the city and landing on my soft bed. It was an amazing concept for the song I haven't finished yet. I just had to make my dream into lyrics and it's done. I decided that I was going to use it as my final song. It's the next day and I waited for my turn to record. While I waited I described my dream in a beautiful way. I had a melody stuck in my head ever since I had that random thought while I slept. I just needed the lyrics. And now that I have them, it's easier. I waited outside the studio for Jacks to finish and he came out.

"Oh hi, Adryan" he said surprised. "Hey, sorry about yesterday," his expression softened as he walked closer to me.

"It's ok, you got mad don't worry" I said He nodded and smiled. "Thanks for understanding. See you later?" He asked.

"Sure," I said and he leaned in to give me a kiss on the cheek.

"This is also a part of the apology," he said gazing into my eyes. My body exploded into a million pieces. He gave me a wink and left. God... why is he so charming and beautiful? Yes, I admit it. He's perfect. I entered the studio, closed the door, I leaned against it holding my cheek like an idiot. I snapped out of it and I started working on the song. Especially the production. That's the most important part of the song, apart from the lyrics.
