It's been a few weeks and many of them have been eliminated here are the current rankings...

The other rankings were today and Veronica was on the verge of being eliminated. She cried all day and all of us comforted her like the good friends we were. We haven't found out more information about Starsdom. They keep everything so silent and under wraps. It's impossible to search the place because we might get caught. Like what happened the last time I snooped around. We decided to lay low because the creator kinda suspected us and we were worried. We spent the rest of the day with Veronica. Honestly, I'm very impressed. She's the only person with one star to make it this far. Her song is really good. She couldn't stop eating. She was so nervous.

"Girl, stop eating too much you'll vomit," Louise said and she shook her head,

"I'm so nervous. What are they going to do with me when I leave?" She spoke as she ate another handful of berries and some nuts.

"Don't worry about that. We'll figure something out, even if we can't" Clarissa said as she paced around the room. Louise held Veronica in her embrace, and they hugged the whole time. The show started and Veronica took a deep breath. We all talked to her and said goodbye just in case. We entered the stage and Karen was proud as ever.

"Well, there's only eight of you left. We are close to the finals!" Karen said and the fans cheered. She interviewed all of us and we gave her the average, cheesy answers we always do.

"I think it's time. Everyone stand up, you know the drill" she motioned us to get up and we stood in our usual place. Louise and Veronica held hands and I gave them a comforting smile when they looked at me. They showed the rankings and Two of Louise's songs got eliminated and Veronica's only song. She looked down and I saw her tearful eyes.

"I'm sorry Veronica. You're...." Karen was interrupted by Grant,

"Wait!" We all stared at him confused. "It's perfect, the two of you. Make them into a duo" he ordered.

Veronica looked at Louise happily and hugged her immediately. Jacks looked relieved and so did I. They took Louise and Veronica to another room and we returned to the hotel. And Aristole was there.

"Remember the announcement I was going to make?" He said and nobody answered back.

"I'm going to pair you up to sing a duet for next week. The fans already know and they love it" Aristole rubbed his palms together, excitedly. Pair us up? I'm not good at working with people, especially on a duet.

"Ok, let's start with the groups. Jacks and Mitchell, Clarissa and Claire and... Damien and Adryan" Seriously? Damien looked at me shocked and Jacks looked disappointed. Damien's shocked expression turned into a grin immediately. I ignored him and I mentally prepared for everything.

"Don't worry, this song won't be in the rankings. It's just a fun performance. Just pick one of your songs and sing it with your partner. You have until Wednesday to rehearse the song, record it and publish it" Aristole said and left. God, I'm going to spend basically the rest of my week with Damien. Let's hope for the best. And let's not forget about Louise and Veronica. They might come back, I know they will. They are basically best friends. I was in my room with Damien and he looked happy. He broke the silence by saying,

"so, what song are we going to sing?" "My songs are pretty difficult to sing. We should do one of yours" I said and he nodded.

"Let's do, The day we met. In fact, I wrote it for you. It will be perfect" Damien said and I looked at him with an uncomfortable look. He chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"Ok, let's do it. It's easier and perfect for a duet" I said. It was. If we harmonized it nicely, it could end up really good. We heard a sudden knock on my door. I answered it and I saw Clarissa.

"Clarissa, what brings you here this hour?" I asked

"Oh, just that Louise and Veronica passed the audition. They're a duo now" Thank goodness. I didn't want to see them go. Damien and I started working on the new version of his song. It was easier working with someone else while making music. We worked faster and we had more ideas, creatively. Damien recorded my harmonies and the second verse. He looked very impressed by hearing my voice as it was being recorded. He kept looking at me and I literally saw heart eyes. I finished singing and he said,

"perfect, you nailed it"

"Thanks, I'm a natural" I bowed down and he laughed.

"Ok, let's rehearse it together, To see how it sounds live" he said and I agreed. He played the track and he sang his part. His light blue eyes stared deeply into mine. I sang my part and he walked a little closer. I backed away a little. I harmonized with him on the second chorus and we finished the song. We stood there looking at each other and he said something I didn't expect.

"I love you, Adryan"
