Heaven and Earth QI

Following his Master instruction he could clearly 'see' a man breathing in a weird pattern. Each time he took a breath it looked like whole world was breathing with him, each time he exhale it looked like the world did as well! What a weird sight? Looking confused he had no idea what do to? Was he supposed to just sit in weird pose like this man and trying to imitate him? Looking for over 15minutes while the pattern didnt change, everything was the same and the whole scene became boring he decided to do so. Fortunely it was no problem to at the same time 'watch' and breathe. After all, he was breathing his whole life how could it be hard?

Unfortunely Cultivation is difficult! Even if breathing isnt, so what? Cultivation is!!

No matter how many time he tried to imitate this man, at most he just ended choking himself. Two days went by, even though he had majestic residence with giant bed that screamed to just lie there whole day or pool nearby to just lie there! He had to learn this first... Angering his Master wasnt an option since he just became his disciple. Trying 1 hour of breathing, 1 hour of break and few hours of sleep, more than 10 days passed by. It was 11th currently, after watching this man for over 100 of hours he more or less remebered how he does this. The problem was, that his breaths were deep as the sea itself and when he exaled it looked like he could spit an enitre ocean. No matter how he tried, his lungs just couldnt support that.

At that moment the stopped breathing, it was exactly 100th hour of watching him and he stopped. Finally a tip?? Happy Ren Li smiled from ear to ear, his hard work of wearing this man down finally paid off.

The man looked at the empty sky and said "Heaven and Earth QI". After that he took another breath, everything changed. It didnt look like world was breathing with him, it rather looked like he was taking something from it with each breath.

'So he is taking QI with each breath?' Ren Li realized it, while he never cultivated even a random begar knows about QI. Its the omnipresent energy of the World. Its everywhere and in everyone. Just the amout of it differs. As if feeling something, he was breathing himself without thinking. His breaths deep and powerful, he felt diffrent. But what was diffrent? He didnt know.

This was one of the basic auxilary skills to help with cultivation. Cultivation is going against Heaven itself, but if You could attune Yourself to the World, to the World energy - QI and gain better affinity with it, it was half the effort with twice the result in the first stage of cultivation, However only powerful individuals could create skills like that and they werent willing to share them with common people either. Otherwise anyone could breaktrhough first stage and reach Fundation Establishment with enough time just by living and breathing. As the QI would alter their bodies to suit cultivation and thats exactly the first phase!
