Miracle known as Alchemy

The long lecture continued until Ren nearly fell asleep. After all he didnt even start cultivating, why bother hearing about the later stages... Its supposed to take years anyway.

"Master so when can i start cultivating?" Finally came the question that bore into his mind since he was a child! His mother never let him saying that he was still a little kid drinking milk!! But his Master wont be the same right? Right????

Tell me, do You think its hard for me to fetch some overpowered elixirs to make You ascend in one go?" Hearing this question Ren froze. Yes, Alchemists were turbo rich, but he never bothered to think why!! They just were, who cares about the reason? But then again his mother told him about a miracle called Alchemy. Its supposed to turn dead old man into young man full of life, ugly witch into sweet and loving maiden. Cripple into cultivation genius!!! And who knows how many more...

"Master You are awesome. Quickly show me some good stuff" Hearing his dumb disciple reply Sima nearly puked blood. What good stuff? What a little kid still pissing his bed can know about that? Even if he did, he wouldnt understeand... And good alchemy stuff? Just a look at the really powerful one and his body would burst!! He was a useless mortal after all.

This was actually kind of rare peak 3rd grade with peak quality elixir. After all making something like this was way more annoying and harder than some of the 5th rank and so. Alchemy also had 4 specializations Pills / Pellets / Pastas and Elixirs. More than 90% of the alchemists followed only one direction while ignoring other three. After all, Alchemy was just THAT difficult. If Cultivation is a road against Heaven, then Alchemy is as hard as escaping from Hell - impossible without high price and insane amout of time.

All along he wanted herbal boy working for him night and day for free! After all no matter what said and done he couldnt get any alchemists slaves openly otherwise he would violate a very huge taboo of orthodox sects and he didnt want to either. He respected his brother, his Master and Alchemists. He was one as well, how he couldnt understeand how hard this proffesion was? Saying that it was difficult was like saying that killing Gods as Mortals was easy. The amout of difficulty was on completly diffrent level.
