First Blood

While there were many, many team and disciples taking part in this hunt, it was impossible for them to enter from the same place. But formations existed! Valley had 50 entrances, each connected with the main array below the Valley. While there were 2000 teams in total, sending 40 teams through one entrance was that much! The Valley itself was gigantic as it was in truth a ground used by Sky Fall Sect to rear their spiritual Beasts. The sheer number of them was insane! While the rare, mutated ones and those who showed signs of having mystic or useful abilities were instantly taken out and sold, there were still too many of them to count! In truth Sky Fall Sect owned more than one rearing ground like this, but this one was the only one with more common Beasts so their loss didnt really leave any pain for them. Anyway Bloodlight Sect had to pay them back half of their losses! Not to mention that all the cores had to be handed by the disciples anyway...

It was early morning when the team one appared inside a huge forest. Yes the Valley was in truth one big forest that spanned for thousands of miles. Even with their speed crossing from one end to the other would take more than month, so while the 20000 disciples being sent here seemed like a great number in truth it wasnt! Their location was completly random, while 39 other teams would be send nearby, it was more or less 100 miles radius.

"Our goal this time is to slaughter 9th tier Spirit Beast! The points granted from this one are too high to pass. But they live only in the very core of this Forest. It means that we have a very long journey ahead... Not to mention any possible fight between our Sect members, we have to slaugher any Bloodlight team that comes close to us! After all they worth double the points. The only thing we have to be careful of are ambushes, while there are some unique beasts skilled in stealth its not easy to meet them. However if we do, dying is a possibility..." Lin Ke continued with her speech but then she realized one thing. Which direction were they supposed to take? She had no idea!

"Mao Mao since You are good at tracking and survival lead the way!" Yes this was her best idea as looking at others, they propably had no idea either!

"Yes Sir!" As if feeling attention of her whole team Mao Mao instantly speed up in one direction, others looked at each other but followed after her. While traveling at high speed was effective, it was also the easiest way to get into enemy trap! Who knew how many Bloodlight members were nearby scheming how to kill them? But after all it was very edge of the Valley so speeding up a bit shouldnt be a problem.

It didnt even take 10 minutes before they encoutered their very first opponent! It was a 5 meter tall Bear who looked like he was looking for food! Even before they could react he instantly jumped into Brutus who not only was big enough to his liking, he was also the closest one! While many of the members werent even able to react, Brutus swung his huge Axe in the Bear direction. He used a special skill that burned high amout of his Qi, but also incrasing his speed, agility and strenght by nearly three times! Not only that, he also used a battle skill that was known as "Cleaving the Earth". It was pure strenght art, that boosted his power even further! He panicked and used as much power as he could as this Bear looked scary!

While their formation wasnt loose, they followed more or 4 or 5 meters from each other. When Brutus and Bear jumped at each other, others were already closing in his direction for follow up attack. However at this moment rain of blood and gore swept their whole formation. No matter who it was they couldnt dodge! Even Lin Ke was stunned at the still twiching organs and rain of blood going down on her! Brutus Axe managed to not only Cleave the Bear paws but also chopped his entire body into two from top to bottom! While he was wearing full body armor and helmet, so his body wasnt really affected his armor didnt! It was covered in organs, blood, gore and even brain juices! Whats worse upon bursting bear eggs and penis shot straight at him!

Just looking at the scene many of them were shocked, not really by the power of Brutus strike, as they could more or less do the same without problem, but by how easy this Bear died! But upon realizing how dirty they all became and what was covering them! Most of them turned pale, while someone started screaming. They saw Jessica staring in horror at something before she could no more and puked!
