Strenght Based Social Hierarchy

After a bit of cleaning, cursing and puking the group managed to resume their journey. With a change to their formation and a bit of rules they managed to cross over 50 miles without much troubles. Till this point group met a few Beasts, but they ran away from them! Thats because at least one of them had unleashed their aura, which indicated that they were not walking food but the hunters! Fifth or Sixth stage of the fundation realm Cultivator on the outer part of the Valley was at the top of the food chain!

While Spiritual Beasts didnt have the highest inteligence, they were smart enough to know when to run! Aura of cultivator who was at sixth stage not only containted heavy pressure from the amout of Qi they possesed, but also spiritual pressure thanks to them forming spiritual sense! While Beasts couldnt exactly tell how strong person was based on their aura alone ( cultivation stage ) their survival instinc was more than strong enough to make them feel threatened! Cultivation was difficult this was accurate not only to Humans, but to any race! Be it Beasts, Demons, Devils or even blessed Spiritual races they all found it difficult! No one wanted to throw away their life for no reason, so avoiding trouble was a common sense if there was no conflict of interest or huge diffrence between their strenght!

World was cruel, strong could bully the weak without any regard for anything, while even stronger could bully the strong one! If they decided that You look ugly to their eyes and they dont want to ever have the slighest chance to look at You again... They could use random Qi art to make You vanish from this world forever! If Your daughter or wife caught an eye of someone more powerful, while You had no backing the only way out was to let them serve this person until he got bored!

Sparing life of someone who defiled the woman they took fancy to was already showing mercy!

While it couldnt be said that women didnt have harems on their own, their innate nature made it more uncommon while males were known for their lust! But the most common thing in the cultivation world was robbery! If someone wanted something as long as they had enough power they could just take it! If someone tried to stop them? They were just asking to die. Many were shameless enough to claim that the treasure was stolen from them and kill the owner together with his whole family and Clan or even Sect, just because they felt like it!

Order existed, but it didnt take into account everyone. Only those who were part of powerful forces, served them, had enough value or paid for protection could be part of this system! Yet even those couldnt rely on others as brother killing brother, disciple slaying Master or Son murdering parents because of some random reason were happening every day!

It was strenght based social hierarchy. While the wisest generaly took charge of the Clans and Sects, the real people in power were the experts! They didnt like what their Clan Patriarch did? They could just assemble Elder Council and throw him out of the Clan! After all who would dare to defy them? When many things could happen and it was never certian how strong a Cultivator was more than often their Cultivation base was more than enough to make others respect him! There were also those who cultivated Mystic arts, divinations or creation arts like forging, formations and inscribtions. On top of that those who practicted Alchemy were most of the time never respect for their cultivation base, but for their ability to create miracles! That was the common truth - never rely on others if You could rely on Yourself!
