Yuki is standing inside the house, panting, looking at nothing, thinking about how this situation happened.
"So, how was it at school, Yuki?" is Mrs. Mushina, Yuki's mother, she says this with half closed eyes and a smile on her face.
"Ah, Normal, like always" says Yuki with his head down, without visualizing.
Ms. Mushina looks at Yuki with a pity face, approaches, puts some dishes she was holding on the table, she comes closer to Yuki and runs her hand through Yuki's hair, "Yuki honey, are you all right?"
"Yes, it's okay, it's just ..."
"Tell me"
"Do I really need to keep going to school?"
"Of course, so when you grow up you will be smart and have a decent future" Says Ms. Mushina while squeezing Yuki's cheeks.
But I'm already much smarter than the other ki...
"Y-U-K-I" Ms. Mushina interrupts with anger, "What did I tell you about saying that you are better than the others?"
"It's rude", says Yuki with his head down, his voice shaking and his face crying.
"Exactly it is Rude and nothing polite".
"You don't understand, the boys at school are unbearable".
"What did your dad say to do when the other kids mess with you?" Says Mrs. Mushina, looking at Yuki with her head slightly raised and an expression of superiority.
"Ignore them, they will leave" Yuki speaks softly and without enthusiasm.
"That's right, Ignore them, they will leave" Ms. Mushina speaks with a great expression of pride.
"Talking is easy" Yuki mutters under his breath.
"Well, I'm preparing dinner, it's not ready yet, go take off the dirty clothes you're wearing. Dhon is out there playing with the other kids, if you want you can go, but come back before dark for dinner, so the food doesn't get cold." Says Mrs. Mushina turning to Yuki while she takes the dishes she had previously put on the table in the living room, and heads towards the kitchen.
Yuki goes towards his room with his head down kicking the backpack he was holding. Yuki walks down the corridor between the living room and the kitchen, turns left, walks a few centimeters and arrives at his room.
Yuki arrives in his room, closes the door, lies on his back, leans on it, crouches on the floor, sighs deeply and begins to murmur: "I don't want, I don't want, I don't want, I don't want, I don't want, I don't want, I don't want to" Yuki repeats this over and over while pulling on his hair, Yuki starts to think of excuses he could give for not leaving home "What if I say I'm tired? Can I say that I have the flu? No, this is very obvious ... HA already know, I'll say it halfway, I fell and I'm hurt, Dhon wouldn't want to force me out if I was hurt, hummm...but what if he asks to see the hurt? Damn, I can't think of a good excuse". Yuki stops, in his return there is no one, and the silence is deafening, he starts to think about what he's doing "ahh" he sighs "this is pathetic", Yuki then gets up, and goes towards his bedroom window, "it doesn't look so bad" he says to himself as he looks the other kids having fun.
"Dhon has done so much for me, I don't want to be selfish, but, everyone out there, everyone looking at me, looks like they ..." Yuki's eyes fill with water, he starts to have bad thoughts, imagining as if those children outside the house were horrifying monsters...
Yuki then stops, then remembers the thousands of fights that Dhon has fought over him, the many times that Dhon has defended him from older boys who wanted to mess with him, "I'm overreacting" thinks Yuki "Dhon was not going to invite me to to join these people if they knew they were going to mess with me, he is my friend after all."
Yuki then, raises his head and says: "I'm going outside". He walks towards the door of his room and leaves, in his mind he is all chic and pompous, but...in fact he is crooked and shaking from head to toe, Yuki's stance is depressing, but at least he took courage.
