Chapter 14
Y/n's POV
For the next few months, it was pretty hard. We had all taken a break from anything to serious. Before we knew it, 4 months had already passed. When I woke up, Tae was sleeping soundly next to me. We were planning to make my old room, the baby room. I slowly got up, careful not to wake Tae and went downstairs.
Namjoon: Morning.
Jennie: Good morning, how did you sleep?
Y/n: Pretty well compared to other nights.
Jungkook: You're starting to show a lot.
Y/n: Yea I know.
I take a seat on the couch next to Jennie.
Jennie: Oh also, the doctor is coming today at around 4:30.
Y/n: Really!!
Tae: What's going on?
Tae was coming down the stairs.
Y/n: We get to find out the gender of the baby today!
Tae: Really!
His face lights up.
Y/n: It's gonna be a girl!
Tae: Nope! It's gonna be a boy!
Jennie: Oh you two are so childish.
-Time skip-
Doctor: Mrs Kim, please follow me in to check the gender.
I walk in and after the doctor checks, he puts the results in an envelope.
Y/n: Can I see it?
Doctor: Miss Kim said she would like to know the gender first. I believe she might be planning something.
We walk out and everyone stands up. The doctor hands Jennie the envelope.
Doctor: If that will be all, have a nice day.
Jennie: Oooooo I'm gonna plan the perfect gender reveal!
Tae: Don't keep us waiting for too long. I wanna know if I'm having a son or daughter.
Jennie: Ok now you two go out and have a date while the boys and I get everything ready. We'll text you when we're done! It might take about 2 hours so enjoy your night!!
Tae: Haha ok.
We both get changed and head to a restaurant downtown. After eating, Tae and I headed to the mall.
Tae: Where do you want to go first?
Y/n: Oh! We haven't gotten any baby clothes yet! What were we thinking?
Tae: Ok I think there is a store here.
We head to the baby store but after shopping and coming out, someone walks up to me.
???: Y/n? Is that you?
Shit.
Y/n: O-oh hi Felix....
He looks at my ring.
Felix: You didn't tell me you got married.
Y/n: Y-yea sorry...
He looks at Tae who stares right back. He looks back at me.
Felix: Congrats on the baby. Call me y/n. We should hang out sometime.
Y/n: Oh umm yea.....
Felix: Actually, if you are free right now, I can take y-
Tae: We have to go somewhere actually.
Felix gives Tae a cold stare but Tae is unshaken.
Tae: Come on y/n.
We both start walking and after we get further away from Felix, Tae tries putting a hand on my shoulder, but I flinch. I only realize what I had done after it happened and when I look at Tae, he has a worried and surprised look on his face....even hurt.....
Y/n: T-tae I-
Tae: He...hurt you....didn't he?
I nod.
Y/n: My ex...My abusive ex....
Tae: Y/n.....I would never....
Y/n: I know....I just.....it's been a while since I've felt so scared...
Tae hugs me.
Tae: I'd never lay a hand on you like that....never.
Y/n: I know baby...I know.
Tae's phone buzzes and it's Jennie. Tae smiles.
Tae: Looks like we get to find out the gender of our little bear now.
When we reach the house, we're surprised with blue and pink decorations everywhere.
Jennie: Everything is ready!! The cake of truth has the gender!
Namjoon: We dressed in the color we thought the baby would be. Only Jennie knows the gender since she got the cake.
Jennie: So I dressed in both colors!
I laugh and Jennie leads us over to the cake.
Jennie: Ok you two. Grab the cutting knife and cut the cake! Let's see what the gender will be!
Tae and I put our hands on the cutter and we slowly cut into the cake. Before pulling the slice out, Yoongi and Jungkook grab the confetti cannons.
Jungkook: The cannons are loaded, Captain!
Tae: Alright, is everyone ready??
Everyone: YESSS LET'S DO IT!
We slowly pull the slice out and the cannons go off. We are showered with blue confetti and I jump into Tae's arms with happiness.
Tae: IT'S A BOY!!
He starts spinning me around and he pulls me into a deep kiss.
Yoongi: I KNEW IT!
Namjoon: WOOOO ITS A BOY
The happiest day of my life.....we were expecting a baby boy.....I was going to have my own little family.
